Former residence of calligrapher Zhu Jiuying
Zhu Jiuying was born in Hunan and was a political commissar of the General Headquarters of the Hunan Army. After coming to Taiwan, she served as the Director of the General Bureau of Salt Affairs of the Ministry of Finance and the General Manager of the Taiwan Salt Factory. The place became his residence (not surprisingly). Calligraphy works are displayed in the former residence. Because of Zhu Jiuying's outstanding calligraphy, the Tainan City Government also organized some competitions to display children's works together.
Introduction of Anping Tree House
It was originally the warehouse of Deji Foreign Company next door. According to its window frames and building materials, it was judged to be built in the early 19th century and used by the salt merchants at the beginning, but then the abandoned banyan tree grew on it, and the branches and leaves formed another life style. It is the same visiting park as calligraphers Zhu Jiuying and Deji Foreign Company. You can visit these three places at a time when you buy a ticket to enter the venue. The time required is about 2 hours, for reference.
Visit Tak Kee Company
There are five major foreign firms in Taiwan, namely the British Deji Foreign Firm, the British Yee Kee Foreign Firm, the British Hutchison Foreign Firm, the German Dongxing Foreign Firm, and the American Hutchison Foreign Firm. Among them, De Kee Foreign Firm was taken over by Japanese salt merchants in the early 20th century, and then by Taiwan Salt. Inherited, this place is now designated by the municipal government as a third-class monument. Tickets need to be purchased to enter the venue. However, the exhibition and building structure inside are highly visible, and our family enjoyed it. (laugh)

Arranging a small trip to Tainan considering the location and accommodation of the attractions, I chose Anping District as the first stop. When I arrived at noon, I had beef soup and Tong Kee tofu.
