After experiencing the beautiful scenery of the Kinugawa Mountains yesterday, today I plan to have a shared visit to Nikko and visit the World Heritage Sites of Oyouin, Futarasan Shrine, Tosho Palace and Rinwang Temple, experience different cultural travels.

Close to Japan’s maple viewing season, many friends will arrange their itinerary early. Most of them will go to Kyoto as their first choice. The Kinugawa Hot Springs and Nikko, which are about 2 hours’ drive from Tokyo, already have some red maples. There are also a lot of maple trees planted in various restaurants. I saw a lot of maple trees when I visited this time. Some of them were still green, but after being sprinkled with rainwater, the photos were still green. I believe that a visit in November will definitely be possible See the super beautiful red maple.It seems that there are not too many people coming to these two places (?). 1. Save the time from Kinugawa Onsen Station to Nikko City. There is no need to change trains at Shimoimaichi Station. It is suitable for parent-child travels with children and strollers.
2. The bus stops at "Tobu World Plaza" (similar to Little People's Kingdom), "Nikko Edo Village", "Nikko Ape Legion" and other recreation areas along the way, and it can also be easily arranged as a one-day itinerary.

◎ Daiyuin Temple, Tokugawa Iemitsu Shrine, the third-generation general of the Tokugawa Shogunate

If you walk in from the door, you can feel the peaceful atmosphere here. According to the inquiry, it was found that Daiyuin was an ancestral hall of Tokugawa Iemitsu. It was built in the early Edo period (around the 17th century) and has a history of more than XNUMX years. !This shrine is said to be a model of Toshogu Shrine (the temple where he was deified). As a grandson, Iemitsu Tokugawa had concerns about copying Tosshogu, so black and gold were used as the basis for the construction.Although there is a very beautiful Erten Gate here, it was introduced in a travel book I bought in Japan, and it is called a must-see attraction, but it has been under repair now, so it doesn't look like the original one.

However, the main worship hall is still accessible and has not been repaired. At the beginning, the people of Shengdao felt that there were gods in Nikko Mountain, and they founded Erhuangshan Shrine and Shibenryu Temple. Nikko Mountain is famous for this, and it is said that many monks have visited.After Tokugawa Ieyasu founded the shogunate in Edo in 1603, Nikko Mountain was protected as a ghost gate of Edo. The second general Tokugawa Hidetaka rebuilt the main hall and shrine, which we will see when we visit. Look.Since it was built in 783, it is very long, so 23 of the main halls and the bridge in the shrine yard are designated as important cultural assets.

I think the most special thing is that there are two "parent-child cedar" and "husband cedar" in the shrine where you can visit, pray for the safety and happiness of the family!
