Fukuoka West Park (Nishi Park) is selected as one of the XNUMX best cherry blossom sights. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, there are stalls next to the main entrance. Local people even bring floor mats and light food to enjoy with family and friends under the cherry trees. Sakura, enjoying the brightest moment of life seems to be the most important thing in life, and it makes us envious.

Introduction of Fukuoka West Park and the view of cherry blossoms
This place was called Mount Arazu in ancient times. It is a hill facing Hakata Bay. Fukuoka City, Hakata Bay and Shiga Island can be seen from a distance. The hills and valleys were built into a park in Meiji 14 (1881). The park has been a local scenic spot since the Edo period, and still retains the plants of the time. You can see unique evergreen broad-leaved forests, pine trees, oak trees, and camphor trees near the beach. In addition, 1,300 cherry blossoms were planted and the scenery is so beautiful that it was selected as one of the "Hundred Sakura Scenic Spots".
We enjoyed the cherry blossoms along the route and saw several shrines and monuments, such as the "Statue of the Minister of the State of Hirano Jiro", the monument to the establishment of Arazu Park, and the monument to Kato Shisuke. Readers are advised to go in and have a look. You can also see them. Surrounded by cherry blossoms and a peaceful atmosphere, Little Burger was still here for a short nap at the time, it was very pleasant.
