The main island of Penghu can be divided into four districts: "Northern Ring", "Magong City", "Southern Ring" and "Huxi". The Northern Ring Road can be divided into the former "Baisha Township" and the "Xiyu Township". The famous attractions that Baisha Township will pass through are: Zhongtun Windmill, Penghu Aquarium, Tongliang Ancient Banyan Tree, and Cross-sea Bridge. After passing the Pingtung Sea Life Museum, you don't need to go to the Penghu Aquarium, so we will visit three scenic spots in the morning.
Zhongtun Windmill

The owner of the homestay said that the Zhongtun windmill is Taiwan’s earliest wind power generation, using equipment made in Germany, while Penghu winds northeast monsoon in winter and southwest wind in summer. This batch of equipment can overcome the problem of different wind directions and need to adjust the orientation. The wheel design was improved into lightweight materials, which opened the follow-up introduction of wind power generation on Taiwan’s main island.The windmill group is equipped with night lighting, and there will be light beams from the base to light up, and the dark night is shining brightly, which is also worth admiring.
Tongliang Gurong
It takes about 30 minutes to drive from the Zhongtun windmill to the ancient banyan tree in Tongliang. This banyan tree is more than 300 years old. It is the only big banyan tree on Penghu Island. It has 97 branches and matches the 97 villages on the island. Pious and respectful thing.The branches and leaves of the ancient banyan tree are prosperous and dense. The branches extend to the four directions to form a natural awning. The green shade covers 660 square meters. In order to protect it, the local residents surround each branch with a board, supplemented by shelves and pillars. Support, so what is printed on the ground is the dense shadow of the tree. Sitting here with a cool breeze, I would like to take a good rest, take a nap, and then set off.
Yijia Cactus Ice

The Penghu Sea Crossing Bridge connects the two islands of Baisha Township and Xiyu Township. I guess it’s because the name on the bridge is the inscription of Jiang Gong, so a bronze statue on the opposite side echoes it?
When riding on the bridge, there are mostly blue seas on both sides. You will find out how there are piers.
