Charcoal Grilled ホルモンぐう: A-la-carte grilled meat in Tokyo and delicious food in a smoke-free environment

Charcoal Fire Grill started in Yaesu, Tokyo. It has been in operation for more than 2007 years since its opening in 15. The smokeless charcoal fire dining method and environment, coupled with the store's insistence on choosing meat products, opened 10 branches in Tokyo. I was fortunate to visit Tokyo before the epidemic. Tasting its high-quality roasted meat, paired with cold beer, the summer heat seems to be swept away, and I can't help but reminisce!

Surprise on the way: Kabukiza

We took a walk to get back to the hotel. We walked through this building. The Kabuki performances and the cast list in August were posted outside, and we couldn't help but take some photos.The original Kabuki-za was built during the Meiji period. After the war, it was restored according to the original structure. It is still an important venue for Kabuki performances.

In recent years, Wendy and I rarely choose all-you-can-eat restaurants. For the sake of "returning the fare", we often end up going too far, which is harmful to our gastrointestinal health.Therefore, when traveling to Japan, you will also choose an à la carte barbecue restaurant. First, the meat is better. Second, you will slow down the time and taste the craftsmanship of the shop owners. It is not bad to go back to the restaurant with a full meal.

The Tsukiji branch of Charcoal Grill has 30 seats. We were lucky enough to enter before the peak dining time. Wendy originally considered that the small burger was still awake, and was worried that the smell of smoke and the sound of conversation in the roast meat shop would wake up, but in fact, the space is still awake. It's pretty good, and I don't want him to sleep too much, so as not to delay the time to fall asleep at night, let's just let go and enjoy this meal.

ホルモン Yakiniku Specialty Store

"ホルモン" means pig and beef viscera as ingredients, which are eaten by barbecue. The ingredients do not appear in ordinary barbecue restaurants, but there are specialized stores called "ホルモン焼き".Charcoal grilled ホルモンぐう menu will see a variety of related ingredients, we ordered some meat slices and recommended by the store, as a side dish to eat, without fishy smell, but with the aroma of charcoal grilled and oily.

The shop's signature dishes include large intestines, honey-marinated viscera and minced cartilage meat. I thought it would be oily when placed on the carbon stove, but there was no oil spray, but a faint harmonious aroma. After eating it, it tastes crunchy and has a little pickled sweetness. It's quite a meal. Wendy said that she still has a schedule to run, so she didn't give me more, so she had to make up for it after a second visit in the future.

The yakiniku restaurant is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I originally chose the Tokyo Ginza Orient Express Hotel, considering the transportation is very convenient. It is located in Tsukiji Station (Hibiya Line), Shintomicho Station (Yurakucho Line), Higashi Ginza Station (Asakusa Line) & Hibiya Line) between the three subway stations, the nearest Tsukiji Station Exit 4 is only a 100-meter walk away, and you can walk to the Ginza business district for shopping and shopping.The best way to travel between Narita and Haneda Airport is to take the Asakusa Line at Higashi Ginza, transfer to the Keisei Railway Limited Express at Oshiage Station to Narita Airport, or take the Keikyu Airport Line to Haneda Airport.
