At the beginning of 2020, I was lucky enough to stay in the only one riverside suite A. The room has a large floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking the Grand Palace and the Maharaja Pier Literary and Youth Market on the other side. On the right side, you can see Temple Arun in the distance, and across the river, you can see Bangkok on the other side. The hustle and bustle of the city center is quite like the tranquility of being in a paradise and watching the world. There is a wide balcony space outside the room. You can enjoy the cool here at night and watch the boats on the water going back and forth. It has a healing effect. In the past, King Zheng was always watching from the other side. The temple and hotel buildings now look completely different when looking back from the right bank to the left bank.
The entire suite space adopts Japanese simple design, but is full of strong Thai style. The spacious sofa bed in the living room is lazy and comfortable and can be used as an extra bed. It is equipped with many carefully selected design furniture and colorful floor coverings. There are striped gum carpets and many theater photos on the wall. The space design is simple but not monotonous. The bathroom is a regular space combined with a dressing room. The reception hall of the theater hotel’s main building is a non-air-conditioned open air space. You must be mentally prepared for check-in and check-out. The swimming pool is located in the central courtyard behind the reception hall, next to the small fish pond, forming an interesting scene of people and fish swimming in the pool on both sides. The atmosphere of the entire garden after lighting up at night is quite good, but the swimming pool surrounded by all the rooms does not have a poolside bar, so you can enjoy the night scenery quietly. If you want to have a little wine at night, you can go to the cafe on the opposite side of the annex building.
There is a restaurant and a cafe with the same name in the theater hotel’s annex. The restaurant has an invincible view facing the river. It is also a place where guests can have breakfast. In the evening, it sometimes provides a private space for loan activities. We happened to have a private space on the night of our stay. For birthday celebrations, fortunately, there are many riverside view restaurants near Wanglang Market. Transfer to Supatra River House for dinner. The view is also excellent. Breakfast is served in a buffet style, offering on-site egg meals and a variety of Chinese dim sums.
