SONY NEX 5T: Out of the box real shots and evaluation of the lightweight single-lens camera

When SONY launched the first-generation NEX5 series of monoculars, the compact body was loaded with monocular APS-C image quality, which attracted me to buy as a portable camera, and even as the second record camera when traveling abroad. Now we continue to introduce new ones. Coming to NEX 5T, functions such as 5-degree flip screen, touch control, and Wi-Fi wireless photo transfer have been added to make shooting more satisfying the needs of travelers.

SONY NEX 5T with SELP1650 motorized zoom lens

This year, when I went to Japan to enjoy the cherry blossoms, and when I visited the Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto at night, the weather was not good and the drizzle was drifting. I suffered from the high iso performance of the single eye on the hand, and the body was not drip-proof, but the shooting ended in a hurry. I heard that many travelers are holding SONY NEX series cameras to obtain excellent pictures in continuous shooting. I am envious. When I go to Kyoto for maple viewing in November, I must upgrade the body and bring a lightweight monocular. You can use it for long-distance scenic spots, night shots, and group photos!

Starting from the previous cascades NEX 5R and NEX 6, the SELP1650 electric zoom lens replaced the previous 18-55mm kit lens and became the main fighter. After multiplying by 1.5 times, the equivalent focal length is 24-75mm, which is also a common focal length for travel and shooting. SONY NEX 5T experience

My main use this time is to take it with me to test whether I can bring it with me during a week of use, so as to guess the feeling of using when traveling abroad. The shooting method is mainly in A mode, and the shooting time is from morning to night, outdoor to indoor and then Food, whether a single mode can cope with diverse scenes, can be operated more easily for everyone. On the one hand, I found that many users are less specialized in monoculars, and on the other hand, many shooting functions are not practical. Can this one be taken out to shoot the subject of the journey? The answer is yes. (Even after I started SONY NEX6 last year, my colleagues never took a big monocular camera out again...)

The main selling point of SONY NEX 5T this time is WIFI wireless transmission. Through the latest technology NFC (Near Field Communication, Near Field Communication), you can easily upload and share the wonderful moments of the moment by lightly touching the Android mobile device that also has the NFC function. However, based on my experience this time, I didn’t use it. I’m mainly used to using my mobile phone to shoot and upload, and my mobile phone is an ios system. This part is left for everyone to see the experience of other sharers.

The last thing I love most is that this automatic white balance is quite accurate, because when people go out to take pictures, the light source is mostly chaotic. If you don’t know the white balance well, the automatic white balance can actually assist it, making the photos look lovely and cute. With the addition of 10 continuous shots, you will almost never miss the picture you want. Carrying a lightweight monocular to accompany you on the journey will keep you more physical and playful, great!

PS So SONY has NEX6, NEX5R and 5T, how should I choose?May wish to leave a message below to ask!
