At the annual Loy Krathong Festival in Thailand, we came to Tak (also known as Lai Hing) in northern Thailand to participate in activities. I believe everyone is a little stranger to Tak. It is mainly close to Sukhothai. The history of development is much earlier than that of Su. During the Ketai period, Dafu was the second largest city in northern Thailand. In addition to the annual water lanterns on the Ping River (Ping River), the recreational itinerary in the house included Bumephon Reservoir, waterfalls, and rafting.
In the afternoon, the staff of the local tourism bureau was very enthusiastic to lead us to visit a century-old Chinese community-Meicheng Community. I really like this old but atmospheric place. In addition, the dry season in northern Thailand and the weather is very sunny. , The sky is always so blue.
The prosperity of Chinese immigrants came from the mid-nineteenth century. Many Chinese businessmen came here to do business here, and they made jewellery, minerals, industry, etc. However, with the shift of history, the development of the city gradually developed to the south, which is now Bangkok. The original Chinese businessmen in the government also moved south, so the original residents of Meicheng community also moved out. When we visited, there were few young people, which is believed to be the same as the urban population in Taiwan.
The Meicheng community still retains some century-old buildings. Although there are some remodeling and reconstruction projects, they still retain the original structure, even the original hand-carved. If you caress the carvings on the head, you can still feel the community Some are prosperous. The alleys in the community are small and there are a lot of greenery and plants to make this trip. I took a lot of so-called "fu" photos. Walking slowly by myself, I feel the culture of the same kind in a foreign country. It is very special. experience of.
At the end of the walk, I came to a temple where Thai-Western culture intersects. It has white Western-style architecture and the characteristics of Thai-style temples. I think this is the follow-up influence of the introduction of Western culture by King Rama V to integrate the land of Thailand. And it integrates many cultures to create different scenery. The Meicheng community has been reminiscent so far, it is nostalgic and makes people want to visit again.
▲ This one takes a lot of time just to focus, and the neck should be tanned.

※ notes
I like this old place very much. Whether it’s taking pictures of flowers, grasses, streets and alleys, it can quite present a futuristic photo atmosphere. In addition to making the subject of the photo appear bokeh, I also try to bring out a little bit of daylight with backlighting. Miscellaneous shooting feeling.Share a little bit of your own tips.
