Pendulum Town, Thailand│ Wat Nam Hu (Nanhu Temple) and Emperor Na Li Xuan

Wat Nam Hu (Nanhu Temple) is a well-known temple in Bai Town, Northern Thailand. The head of a Buddha statue in the temple always has clear water produced. It is regarded as holy water by the public and has been interviewed by TV stations, so the incense is flourishing. In addition, there is also the remains of the sister of Thai Emperor Na Li Xuan (Black Prince/Na Rui Xuan/Na Rai Song En/Pana Rai) buried here.

This king of the Ayutthaya Kingdom was very famous. He led the Thais to defeat the Burmese Liberation Dynasty, and was called the "Five Emperors" together with the following kings.
* Ramkhamhaeng (Ramkhamhaeng): the creation of Thai characters, known as the father of Thailand
* Zheng Xin/Taksin: Zheng Zhao, a Chinese descent who founded the Thonburi dynasty in Thailand. His Thai name is Thaksin. His accomplishment lies in the unification of Siam.
* Mongkut (Mongkut): For Rama IV, he committed to reform and abolish slavery in the 19th century, played by Chow Yun Fat in the movie "Anna and the King".
* Chulalongkorn (Chulalongkorn): As Rama V, Thailand quickly developed into a modern country when he was in power, and became a special case of foreign invasion to maintain the country's independence at that time.

Continuing the previous introduction, Wat Nam Hu (Nanhu Temple) is where the remains of Princess Supankunya, the sister of Emperor Na Lixuan, are buried. I want to bring a little bit of its story background~

From the introduction and supplement of the movie "Legend of the King of Thailand", Emperor Na Li Xuan was born in 1555 (During the Ayutthaya Kingdom). When he was young, he, his sister and brother were taken hostage to Burma, threatening the King of Thailand to obey orders. Myanmar.During this period, Emperor Nareshuan learned a lot of martial arts and tactics, including military education in Burma and Portugal. (Note: This is the origin of Muay Thai, it was the emperor who brought martial arts fighting into the military)

In 1569, the King of Burma destroyed the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, and he helped the king of Taitama Tanma (the father of Emperor Na Lixuan) to become a puppet king, and Tanma Tanah agreed to give up his daughter, Princess Supankanlaya, to become the king's concubine. , Allowing the black prince and his brother to be released back home together. (Note: The on-site tour guide means that the older sister has become the concubine of the Burmese king and also has a child, so she voluntarily stayed as a hostage to let the two younger brothers return to the Ayutthaya Kingdom)

After returning to the country, Emperor Nareshuan finally ruled the Kingdom of Ayutthaya until 1605. In 1592, he killed the Burmese prince in the outstanding battle in Suphan Buri and freed Thailand from Burmese rule. But Princess Supankanlaya and her son were killed in the anger of the Burmese king, so the Thai people are grateful for her sacrifice for the emperor and built this pagoda to bury the princess's remains. (Later, I will introduce the emperor and the movie in more detail in another article)

In Nanhu Temple, there is a TV station interviewing and witnessing the Qingshui video inside the head of the Buddha. You can also see the portraits of the emperor, his sister, and his younger brother, as well as his favorite wooden cock sculpture. After briefing the background story, everyone will travel. I will also understand it better!
