🚆Rail transportation route: Take the Kintetsu from Kyoto Station to Yoshinoyama
railway ticket
Kyoto Station → Kashihara Jingu-mae Station This line has four types: limited express, express, semi-express, and ordinary (note: the semi-express does not go to the terminal station - Kashihara Jingu-mae Station, so you can’t take it!)
When you go to Yoshino Mountain to enjoy the cherry blossoms, I believe you will arrange accommodation in either Kyoto or Osaka, especially in Kyoto. When we arrived at Kyoto Station, we went to buy a "Kintetsu train" ticket. The limited express of the Kintetsu line can be purchased at the ticket office. It is a type of ticket with matching seats, and there are fewer stops to save time, so you can buy it. Select the following information from the station attendant:
- Date of travel
- Train frequency (departure time at the boarding station or arrival time at the alighting station)
- Riding section
- Number of passengers
- Smoking carriage or non-smoking carriage
There were not many passengers leaving early in the morning, so we chose the express ticket to go there. Compared with the limited express time, it is only 10 minutes away. The fare can be 500 yen cheaper, which is provided for your reference.

The map below clearly indicates that it takes about 54 minutes to take the Kintetsu from Kyoto to Kashihara Jingu-mae Station, and then transfer to Yoshino Station at this station. The stations are clearly marked on site, so just follow the map. But, the same goes for the return trip!
