The Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden (Kyoto Prefecture ホームページ) is located in Sakyo District. It was established in the early 20th century and became the first public botanical garden in Japan. As it occupies an area of nearly 24 square meters equivalent to the size of the Yilan Traditional Art Center, it is also used by residents and tourists. A good place for children to come here.
How do I get to the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden (Kyoto Prefecture ムページ)?
Take the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line to K03 Kitayama Station. From Exit 3, you will reach the Botanical Garden. If you get off at K04 Kitaoji Station, you can also go to Exit 3 and go eastward. Walk 1 km for about 12-15 minutes. During the cherry blossom season, I would suggest to get off at Kitaoji Station and walk along the half-timbered road to enjoy weeping cherry blossoms.

A brief introduction to the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden (Kyoto Prefecture, ムページ) and experience of visiting the garden.
We visited the botanical garden in spring and autumn. There are flowers in the garden at different seasons throughout the year for visitors to enjoy. Although the website says, "There are 120,000 plants and 12,000 species of plants. The greenhouse covers an area of 4,612m², and there are 25,000 plants and 4,500 species of plants. "It’s hard to understand how beautiful it is, so I tried my best to take pictures of autumn leaves and other flowers. I hope you like it.
The Red Maple Forest in the park is relatively concentrated, with a small pool as the foreground. On this day, many parents bring their children to play, and even see the serious expressions of the children sketching from life. I have an outdoor recreation area for urban residents. Enviable, it’s for parent-child interaction instead of sound and light entertainment. It’s always good to let children get close to nature.
Kyoto's autumn leaves season is here this month. It is not a famous place for autumn leaves like Tofukuji or Eikando, but the natural and unadorned planting makes it a magnificent sight, which is no less than the aforementioned attractions for Wendy and me.Immediately after the end of the year, we will start planning for the 2017 Keihan Cherry Blossom Viewing Project. The dense and luxuriant Yoshino Sakura in the Kyoto Botanical Garden is definitely not to be missed. Please also wait for our follow-up special article to introduce. (bow)
