Nizoin Temple in Kyoto: Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hongye Avenue, a good place for a day in Arashiyama

Nizonin was built in the Heian period of Japan. It was named after the two statues of "Sakyamuni Tathagata" and "Amitabha Tathagata" in the courtyard. Walk all the way from the gate to the main hall of Nizonin. It is a very famous red leaf path, about 200 meters long. In autumn, the road is full of red leaves, which is very beautiful. I personally like another view in the courtyard. When planning autumn maple viewing trips, I highly recommend everyone to visit. It is very comfortable and relaxing to walk here from Changjiguang Temple! (push!)

The so-called "two statues" in the name of the two temples refers to the two Buddha statues "Sakyamuni Tathagata" and "Amitabha Tathagata". In ancient times, Master Jigaku received the will of Emperor Saga and opened the mountain during the Chenghe reign (834~847). Then in the Yingren Rebellion (1467~1477), the halls were burned down, but they were reconstructed and preserved until now, which is what we have seen.

Kyoto maple viewing itinerary guide

After a 2013-day intensive Keihan maple viewing tour in 9, I went to Kyoto again in 2014 the following year and arranged a 10-day Kyoto maple theme tour to make up for the regret that the name of the maple leaves in Kyoto could not be collected last time. At this moment after the birth of Hamburger, Looking back at the compact itinerary that Wendy and Anya had gone through at the time, it was really surprising to me. I provide it to travelers who are full of energy and love the autumn leaves as a reference for the maple viewing itinerary.
