The Siam Tea Room: Taste the chef’s ancestral craftsmanship while admiring Bangkok’s riverside scenery

The Siam Tea Room is a gourmet restaurant under the Marriott Group. The first restaurant is located in Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park. The chef Anukool Poolpipat has excellent skills and jointly opened a new branch at the Riverside Pier Night Market. This time we are bringing small burgers to the river. When dining at the Bin branch, you can sit in the open-air seats on the second floor and enjoy the scenery of the boats passing by on the Chao Phraya River. As the sun sets over the river and the view of the river is paired with delicious food, it has become a favorite restaurant among locals.

How to get to The Siam Tea Room Asiatique Branch

Take the Bangkok Skytrain to Saphan Taksin Station, then transfer to a taxi or take a ferry to the Riverfront Pier. If you are traveling with more than three people, it is recommended to call a Grab Taxi or Bolt directly and locate "Asiatique The Riverfront". Get off Walk towards the river after the car and you can easily find it in the Room8 area. The most obvious landmark nearby is the large sailboat on the river bank. Just follow the line and you will see an all-white building (as shown below).

Make you feel as comfortable and comfortable as home

The Marriott Group has completely preserved the original building structure, which is still divided into two floors and indoor and outdoor spaces. It is made of white as the base and black as the edges, and is matched with silver-colored metal furniture. The original design has detailed and exquisite carvings on the window frames. Finally, in order to create a restaurant like a garden, the frangipani tree at the entrance is filled with fresh floral fragrance, and there are various green pines and flowers inside to help guests feel like they are back home. (Personally, I think this is the luxury level)

Executive Chef Anukool Poolpipat inherits family skills and his own creativity

The expanded branch of The Siam Tea Room is located here. It specializes in Thai fusion cuisine, using various Thai dishes as the base, allowing the chef to use his creativity to create fresh tastes, and cooperates with local small farmers to select fresh ingredients to make exquisite Thai dishes. Sharing it with every guest, their relatives and friends, and feeling their hard work and love for food is the chef's insistence on creating a riverside branch.

We ordered satay, pork ribs, grapefruit salad, green curry, etc. when the meal was served, we found that each dish was decorated with flowers. It turned out that the chef brought fresh flowers from home every day (he grew them himself). !), hoping that guests will not only taste the food, but also get visual satisfaction. Wendy’s favorite is the grapefruit salad. The chef uses white grapefruit and grapefruit juice to make the base, which is refreshing and has a sweet and sour taste, minus the Braised pork feels greasy.

And I like the charcoal grilled pork ribs the most. It has a sweet taste when you eat it. It is really Tainan style! I couldn't help but ask the chef where his idea came from, and then I understood that his cooking skills were also passed down from his grandma and mother. No wonder it tastes like home. Pair it with white rice to ensure you are full. Finally, order Two desserts are the perfect ending. If you are planning to bring your significant other or friends to Bangkok for a delicious meal, The Siam Tea Room will not let you down!

Food gathering at Riverside Pier

Marriott Group not only operates The Siam Tea Room introduced in this article, but also operates the "Pagoda Chinese Restaurant" in the hotel. The big ship in the photo is also a restaurant under its umbrella, and there is also a fine restaurant next to it. Just as Mr. Wen Shikai once said that Bangkok is a place where gourmet food gathers. Here you will definitely be able to eat delicacies from all over the world, authentic snacks and exquisite cuisine. You may wish to diversify your itinerary, balance your budget, and maximize the taste of the food.
