Vietnam’s most well-known traditional cultural performance program is the national treasure-level water puppet show. When we travel to Hanoi, we can visit the water puppet show at Thang Long Theatre, and we will come back to the starry sky theater in the city. In the conference center, you can enjoy a theater performance combining dance, stunts, and magic. This program is the Ionah Show premiered in September 2015. It will be performed every week at 9 o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with a total length of 75 minutes.
Ionah Show story outline and introduction
The story describes a girl who saw her belated boyfriend, slapped him with anger, and instantly fell into a strange world, embarking on a journey to find the soul again, and finally returned to the real world, reconciled with her boyfriend, and the slap turned into Caress, the heroine's name in the play is Ionah.The whole story is inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, the heroine has to go through various fantasy scenes, which is also the trouble of setting, costume, and dance design in the whole play.
The performance of this troupe is not sponsored by government funds. It purely hopes to use commercial performances and revenue to maintain the operation of the troupe and the lives of actors. It completely adopts local original methods. It also creates local employment and performance opportunities for local performers in Hanoi. The original intention is quite worthy of affirmation. Perhaps limited by funding and venue restrictions, the scale is still not comparable to many international first-class performances, but it can be seen that its hard work and dedication are worthy of blessings and expectations in the future.

Appreciation experience of Ionah Show
The target audience of the Ionah Show is half of the locals in Hanoi, Vietnam, and half of the foreign tourists. The target audience is the ethnic group that the family will appreciate.Before the start of the performance, there is a warm-up place where the clown interacts with everyone in the admission hall. The action and stage design are of a considerable level, but it is limited by the size of the stage and the storyline. Not majestic, but small and exquisite gorgeous performances. It is indeed very suitable for parent-child performances. However, it is recommended that the midfield can add more interaction or other bridge design. The audience should also not take the Bangkok Angel Theater and Cirque du Soleil performances. In terms of scale, after all, there is still a gap under the constraints of funds and venues.
