Grand Swiss Sukhumvit 11 by Compass Hospitality opened in May 11. It attracted our attention due to its proximity to BTS Nana station, Terminal 2014 department store and affordable price, so we decided to take this trip A group in Bangkok has included this hotel in their accommodation list. The accommodation experience, hardware facilities and food quality will be shared with you here. (→ Check special rates)
Overview of Swissotel Hotel Sukhumvit 11
This Grand Swiss Sukhumvit 11 by Compass Hospitality was originally Swiss Park, but it was changed to be managed and operated by Compass Hospitality (this is a Hong Kong hotel group with Thailand and Malaysia as its development focus). It was renovated and renamed to four-star level Returning to Bangkok, the hotel facilities include a restaurant, a swimming pool on the 7th floor, a business center, and a Lobby bar, as well as the use of Freedom.com.
The hotel is strategically located within a three-minute walk of BTS Nana Station. Sukhumvit Soi 11 has various bars, restaurants, and massage shops. It really gave our Bangkok group the most worry-free night, and the price is very It’s simple (my sister requested that it not be too expensive~ha), and I believe it meets the budget expectations of many readers.
▲ A look at the appearance of the hotel
▲ Ready to check in.
▲ A small reminder, the hotel will apply a deposit after check-in, which will be refunded upon check-out.
▲ The bar area beside the lobby.
▲ A football game will be played here in the evening, and some guests will watch the game and have a drink.
▲ It belongs to the design level of a four-star hotel, plus the new opening, the CP value is quite high for me.
▲ Provide an Internet area for guests to find information.
▲ I feel puzzled. In the photo, you have to go up the stairs on the left to get to the elevator. At that time, we were carrying heavy luggage and it was very inconvenient. (Although there is a concierge who can assist, the design is not thoughtful)
▲ High-floor (noisy) and non-smoking rooms will be noted on the booking order.
▲ Ready to come and see how the room looks like, let's go!
Swissotel Hotel Sukhumvit 11 Lane has a total of 18 floors and offers 144 rooms, divided into 6 types:
– Premier Room: 24㎡, about 7.2 pings
– Grand Premier Room: 32 square meters, about 9.6 square meters
– Executive Room: 24㎡, about 7.2 pings
– Executive City View: Not stated on the official website
– Grand Executive Room: 32㎡, about 9.6 pings
– Executive Suite: Not stated on the official website
We stayed in the Grand Premier Room this time. Considering that my sister and I need to put the computer and make-up in our own place, we chose this room type. There is a desk and dressing table in the room. The distance between the bed and the aisle is moderate and not urgent. As far as lighting is concerned, I think it is a bit dark, and the bright hotel is still my favorite.
Usually the wardrobe and Mini bar are next to the luggage platform at the entrance of the room. The hotel design places the wardrobe next to the dressing table to allow female travelers to be more casual in this space. Some of the interior decorations are in the unique Thai style, gold leaf and wood carving. , Bergamot, prints, etc., all hope to let travelers feel the difference in Thailand.
The bathroom space is a little bit cramped. It is mainly shower equipment. The hotel provides complete accessories and bath products for guests to use. On the whole, we stayed at a hotel with high CP and convenient. (→ Check special rates)
▲ My sister and I have two big suitcases.
▲ When I arrived at night, the hotel had helped to make the bed.
▲ The reading lights on the left and right sides have become a must-have for the hotel.
▲ You can see the position of the dressing table and wardrobe from the photo.
▲ After going shopping at night, I will lie here to rest first when I am tired.
▲ The room displays are all Thai-style ornaments.
▲ The purpose of this shooting is to let everyone see the actual use of the stay.
▲ We don't use the safe, and we are still used to locking valuables in our suitcases.
▲ Hahaha This is our loot zone; the room is really spacious!
▲ Drinks and snacks in the Mini Bar are all complete. (Payment is required for use)
▲ Only the bathroom space is a bit small, but it does not affect my evaluation of this hotel.
The breakfast lineup at Swiss Grand Hotel Sukhumvit 11 is simple but complete
At that time, I booked a room through Agoda, and I chose breakfast. If you consider the size of the restaurant with 188 rooms, I think it will be too small. It may not be enough to meet the needs of so many guests and different bands of dining. We are actually Experience did not encounter too many guests dining at the same time.
However, I think the Swiss Park Hotel in Bangkok needs some time to do the staff training for the reopening. There is still a little initiative in the service. For example, asking for coffee and tea is a must. The service staff did not do this, but the foreigner at the table next door had the cup Hot and smoking coffee is...?The plate will not be taken away immediately, obviously there are only three tables of guests in the restaurant.
The breakfast dishes are complete, and the taste is not wrong. It is less memorable than I should say, and I can't even recall which dishes were delicious at the time. Maybe some friends will say that you don't ask for a hotel of 2,500 baht a night! Therefore, in the hotel reviews, I will also recommend the necessary equipment and food quality at the price. This hotel really does not need to choose an additional breakfast package. If you have children with you, you have to choose breakfast. The children can’t bear it. Hungry to eat out in the restaurant.
▲ Overview of the on-site dining environment.
▲ This area is the food fetching area, with fruits, hot food, bread and juice.
▲The above is the reference basis for everyone after a round of small shots.
▲ Friends who often watch blogs know that I probably eat these for breakfast. Unless my husband is accompanied, he will bring bread and desserts to let everyone see more dishes. (Unexpectedly, my sister, the big stomach king, actually didn't have much to eat!)
An overview of the public facilities and environment of Swissotel Grand Hotel Sukhumvit 11
The public facilities of the hotel are basic models. The depth of the swimming pool ranges from 90 to 120 cm. There are quite a lot of gym equipment. However, no one is using them at the moment of the shooting. I should have been running and having fun outside, because I don’t have this part myself. Use it for yourself, let everyone see the status of the public facilities from the following photos, and it is also good to return to the hotel at night!
▲ List of swimming pools.
▲ It’s actually nice to lie down by the pool for a whole morning, but I would recommend this thing to be done in Chiang Mai.
▲Similarly, friends who have the habit of fitness exercises, using hotel facilities properly are worth the price.
