Many delicate peony flowers and peony are planted in the museum. It is in the blooming season, so be sure to explore its beauty.
◎ How do I get to your hotel in Otaru?
After arriving at JR Otaru Station from Sapporo, we walked out of the station to the front bus stop and purchased a one-day Otaru city bus ticket. Among them, we took the "C.祝津コース(C. Shukutsu Course)" and went all the way to the west of Otaru. Get off at the C8 Otaru Guest House and follow the tourists on foot. You can see the entrance in about 5-7 minutes.

◎ The old Aoyama villa was a prosperous fishery in the Meiji era.
This Meiji period mansion belonged to the rich fisherman of Otaru – Aoyama Rukichi. He was born in 1836 in Yusago Aozuka Village, Shonai, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. At the age of 24, he came to Otaru, Hokkaido and found a job as a fisherman. One year later A small-scale fishing farm was opened. With the prosperity of the Meiji period, the scale of the fishing farm continued to expand. In the end, Aoyama Ryuki owned 1 fishing grounds, 15 fishing boats, and 130 fishermen. He became a well-known fishery king. He built a large-scale Aoyama Mansion Mansion, which was also used as a filming location for the well-known Japanese drama Oshin.
The Aoyama Villa we visited originated from the fact that when her granddaughter Masie Aoyama was 17 years old, she was entertained by the first Japanese landlord Honma in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture. The luxurious house style made her decide to build a villa in her father Masaki Aoyama. , Surpass Honma in one fell swoop.Therefore, it is rumored that "Shinjuku Department Store cost about 1 yen, but the construction cost of the Aoyama Villa was nearly 50 yen", and we can understand the luxury of the Aoyama Villa.The total number of pings is about 31 pings. The art works in the museum are very precious. You can only visit and not take pictures after entering the museum.
