Zhenrutang is officially called Zhenrukuji Temple, and the main hall is called Shinrutang. The main Buddha is the statue of Amitabha Tathagata made by Japan’s last ambassador to the Tang Dynasty, Yuanren (Master of Jigaku), but it was once because of the Onin Rebellion However, after several relocations, the current site was re-selected for reconstruction.The three-storied pagoda in front of the main hall is about 30 meters high. It is a representative building in the Edo period. It has also been designated as a cultural property of Kyoto Prefecture. It has become the best shooting spot for spring cherry and autumn maple.
