Yomiuriland Winter Lighting 2025 Jewel Illumination | Tokyo's Most Dreamy Jewel-themed Night View
讀賣樂園於2025/10/23至2026/4/5舉辦第16屆「Jewel Illumination(ジュエルミネーション)2025」,展期長達149天,是東京冬季必看的大型燈飾活動之一。
Designed by world-renowned lighting artist Mikiko Ishii, this light installation features globally pioneering, simulated "jewel-colored" LEDs. Combined with the Tokyo skyline, it creates a dazzling visual effect unique to all of Japan. All the lights are powered by "green energy," making it both environmentally friendly and symbolically significant.
2025 Highlight Theme|LIGHT is LOVE × LIGHT HOP⤴
This year's theme continues "LIGHT is LOVE," representing hope and warmth, symbolizing the love that light brings to people, nature, and the earth. The sub-theme is the more energetic "LIGHT HOP⤴," symbolizing taking a big step towards the next leap forward, with the overall lighting design being more vibrant and dynamic than ever before.
Four Must-Read Highlights for New Travelers (Yearly Summary)
- The "Jewelry Plaza" themed plaza debuts: At the main entrance, the "Sun Plaza" will feature a brand-new light zone themed around LIGHT HOP⤴ orange-toned light. Combined with elements of gold and diamond lighting, the atmosphere is bright and vibrant, making it a must-see highlight for visitors this year.
- Double-sided light sculpture "Jewelry Grand Objet": A newly added giant light sculpture art piece that presents different lighting effects from different angles. It is recommended that new players stop in the starting village to take photos and check in.
- A spectacular water show: the fountain is 60 meters wide, 15 meters high, and has 272 nozzles. It combines light, water, and music in a spectacular way, and is definitely worth setting aside time to see.
- Must-see Ferris wheel night view: When visiting Yomiuriland, you must take a ride on the Ferris wheel to see the night view, because from the top you can see Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower and the vast Tokyo night view at the same time. Below you is the entire Jewel Illumination sea of lights. Since it is very rare to see the night view of two major landmarks at the same time, it is the reason why many people come here specifically.
