TRAN.SCENDER HOTEL Yokohama will grandly open on November 14, 2025. Originally the Zhaofumen Restaurant located in Yokohama Chinatown, it has been transformed into a boutique hotel after renovation. The hotel's design blends tradition and modernity, interpreting the historical memory of Chinatown with a brand-new design language. It offers multi-person rooms suitable for families and groups, and introduces the super popular Chashu Shun restaurant in Tokyo. There is also a sauna that is only available for guests by reservation.
The biggest highlight of TRAN.SCENDER HOTEL is its fusion of cultural preservation and modern design. It retains some architectural elements of the original restaurant and reinterprets the history of Chinatown with modern techniques, creating a space that combines classical and contemporary feel. It also invited four artists to participate in the creation of the hotel, from the paintings in the lounge, the neon lights decorating the exterior of the building, the photographic works of Chinatown in the guest rooms, to the illustrations of various merchandise in the hotel.

The first floor of TRAN.SCENDER HOTEL houses a dining and relaxation space – TRAN.SCENDER LOUNGE, which features Chashu Shun, a chashu specialty shop from Marunouchi, Tokyo, serving authentic Cantonese chashu dishes.
