The national Showa Memorial Park is located west of the center of Tokyo. It takes about 90 minutes by car. Every spring, hundreds of flowers bloom. There are cherry blossoms, rapeseed flowers and various flowers in the park. One of them is a large-scale planting of tulips, with more than a hundred flowers. There are many varieties, and the weather is excellent, you can take hundreds of photos, and the crowds of tourists are not too large. The comfort level is far better than that of cherry blossom viewing spots in the city center. It is one of the Tokyo attractions we highly recommend to bring elders and children. one. (serious)
How to get to Showa Memorial Park?
Starting from Ueno Station (JR), it takes about 90 minutes to drive there, and it takes about 48 minutes to take the Yamanote Line (JY) and transfer to the Chuo Line (JC). We were staying in Yokohama at the time. We first went to Kawasaki Station and then transferred to the JR Nanbu Line to Tachikawa Station. We got off and walked for 10 minutes to the main entrance of the park. The park covers an area equivalent to 11.7 Ueno Zoos, with entrances from the east, west and south. It is recommended that novices enter from the main entrance and buy a small train ticket at the door to take you directly to your destination.
Go to Showa Memorial Park to enjoy cherry blossoms!
Showa Kinen Park welcomes the beautiful scenery when spring enters. It is the number one cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo in our hearts. It contains 31 varieties of cherry blossoms alternately. Many Japanese people come with mats or tents to prepare light for their children. Food and toys, you can enjoy the warm spring weather at Showa Memorial Park on this day. The children are running freely on the grass. They are very relaxed and comfortable. Don’t miss it. Newbies can click on the link to read the cherry blossom viewing chapter, and seize the time. The stretching spring scenery of tulips in the stream square
The tulip planting location is in the stream square area. There are small shops for light food and drinks, as well as seats for tourists to rest. Most of them bring their own mats and tents to the cherry blossom forest, and then walk here to buy food. You can also take photos or take a walk. The leisurely atmosphere is rare in Taiwan tourism. 25 tulips are swaying in the breeze. For photographers, it is really beautiful. I took the little hamburger to take pictures along the way, letting Wendy in the cherry blossom forest. Take a nap and sleep. (100 points)
▲ Admire tulips up close.
▲ Many mothers take their children out!
▲ The landscaping in Japan is indeed first-class, with plants in the front and back, and it looks beautiful when photographed.
▲ This is my photography buddy!
▲ In early April, cherry blossoms and tulips can bloom together.
▲ There are walking trails in the park. You can definitely take photos of "people are more beautiful than flowers". Don't step on them.
Extra little reminder
Because the Showa Kinen Park is so awesome, we came here for two consecutive days. I didn’t know that I could buy a two-day pass. Instead, I bought a single ticket. It is recommended that novice parents think about the itinerary and choose the ticket price first. In addition, although I brought a floor mat and light food to the park, I forgot to prepare outdoor toys for Little Hamburger, so he could only run and dig in the soil. This year, we will prepare toys for this cherry blossom viewing trip, so that we can strengthen our muscles in the natural environment. Also share it for your reference. (waving)
