Video Introduction: Unboxing video of The Ritz-Carlton, Sunrise Hotel
"The best hot spring hotel I've ever stayed at in Japan! The Nikko Ritz-Carlton Hotel is located on the shore of Lake Chuzenji. Rooms offer views of both Lake Chuzenji and Mount Nantai. I highly recommend choosing a lake-facing room, as you can still see Mount Nantai from your balcony. The stunning scenery of the mountain and the lake is all in one breathtaking view!" We rented a car and drove to Nikko this time. As we turned into the hotel's main entrance corridor, the concierge staff swiftly and efficiently guided our vehicle to its parking spot, greeting us with smiles and even helping us take photos in front of the entrance. Upon entering the hotel, we noticed there wasn't a prominent front desk area. Instead, the concierge led us to a sofa area in the lobby to relax, offering tea to quench our thirst. Afterwards, a staff member came to our side to confirm our check-in information and provide details about the hotel's facilities – a truly luxurious experience, showcasing the meticulous and attentive service of the Japanese. After check-in, we were shown to our room, where they introduced its amenities and the welcome fruit and snacks already laid out on the table. But the moment we opened the door and saw the view outside, we were overwhelmed with excitement! Although the bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to sleep soundly until dawn, we spent most of our time on the balcony and in the adjacent living room. Looking at the verdant Nantaiyama Mountain and the shimmering Lake Chuzenji was incredibly soothing and relaxing; before we knew it, the afternoon had passed. After dinner, we went to the large public bath for a soak. The Ritz-Carlton Nikko is the first Ritz-Carlton hotel in the world to have a hot spring bath, so it was a must-see to see how a Western-style hotel blends with Japanese hot spring culture. Walking through the long corridor to the large public bath, I was surprised by its understated luxury with a touch of Zen. I felt the space design and atmosphere were just right, especially the corridor leading to the bath, which felt like entering a space separate from the hustle and bustle of the world. I really liked this design. As for the hot spring itself, the water quality was, of course, excellent! The next day's breakfast was incredibly luxurious and sumptuous, offering both Japanese and Western options. Regardless of your choice, there were also salads, desserts, yogurt, and a variety of milk drinks to choose from. After breakfast, I felt completely satisfied and ready to start the day full of energy. After checking out, the concierge rang the bell next to the door for you, praying for a safe and smooth journey ahead – a truly special touch! The Ritz-Carlton, Sunrise Hotel delivers outstanding service, rooms, facilities, views, and dining. I'm already looking forward to my next stay, especially during the autumn foliage season – it's sure to be the most beautiful time!

【Travel in Nikko: The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko】 1. The hotel is very new, with excellent facilities and a very comfortable overall environment. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding, amenities, pajamas, and kimonos are all of superior quality. 2. The design is meticulous and thoughtful, blending Japanese elegance with Western simplicity. They excel at designing window views; there's a scenic view every few steps throughout the hotel. 3. The hot spring baths are large, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The hot spring water is clean, with a strong sulfur smell, which is very effective in relieving muscle soreness. The snow beside the outdoor pool hadn't melted yet, making soaking in the hot springs very enjoyable. 4. This is the worst English-speaking international luxury hotel I've ever encountered in the world. During my two-day stay, I spoke with seven or eight people, from the front desk receptionist to the concierge, and communication was almost impossible. If I deviated from their prepared scripts, the conversation stalled. Even when asking very basic questions with very basic words, the staff looked completely bewildered. Only one foreign employee spoke English. I also reflected on whether I shouldn't have expected Japanese people to speak English, but a teacher said this is a Ritz-Carlton that costs over $1,500 a night, and it mainly caters to European and American guests. Does that mean we rely entirely on that one foreign staff member? Fortunately, the facilities and the hot springs were perfect. Since I couldn't communicate with the hotel staff, I had to rely on myself. 5. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Nikko.

"Plants, art pieces, hot springs, food, bar, service, events—all top-notch. Thank you for everything. ーーーーーーーー If you're traveling to Nikko, I highly recommend staying here. It's a very standard 5-star hotel, with first-class service and facilities. The hot springs♨️ are absolutely fantastic. Just relax in the open-air bath, watching the dry landscape garden and the birds flying over Mount Nantai, and life feels like it could end there, and you'd be content. I especially recommend the bar; they have a huge collection of very rare Japanese whiskies 🥃. Whisky lovers are in for a treat! But remember to book your time slot in advance to avoid crowds. For breakfast, opt for the Western option. The Japanese food is also good, but after comparing them, I felt the Western food was more amazing, especially the seared beef—it was divine. The yogurt also comes in various flavors; the berry flavor is particularly good." If you can't finish the complimentary bread, the waiters can pack it up and take it home, so don't force yourself, haha. The freshly baked bread was absolutely delicious! ❤️ The hotel also organizes various cultural experiences, and the museum's collection tour was very interesting, allowing you to systematically explore the hotel. However, from an art appreciation perspective, it's subjective; I wasn't particularly impressed. I also signed up for the morning meditation, but I was too engrossed in soaking in the hot spring and missed it 😂
