Video Introduction: THE NEST Naha Unboxing Video
Comprehensive review: THE NEST Naha actual accommodation review
THE NEST Naha boasts brand-new facilities and modern decor. Its highlight is the rooftop infinity pool and complimentary drinks. It's just a five-minute walk from Asahibashi Skytrain Station. Major drawbacks include limited parking (which requires an additional fee), a limited number of laundry facilities, inexperienced front desk staff, and some room types not matching the booking photos. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value and is suitable for families or business travelers who value modern amenities and convenient transportation.
- Service features and brand characteristics: Brand new decoration and facilities, service quality still needs to be improved! The hotel's amenities are excellent; everything exudes a fresh, modern feel, and the room even smells of the woodsy, newly decorated interior. However, the front desk staff lacks experience, processing check-in slowly and with limited English skills, leading to occasional miscalculations and unskilled procedures. While the staff are friendly and helpful, their professionalism and efficiency could be improved. The hotel offers Chinese-speaking staff, and overall service should improve over time.
- Room selection and equipment features: Modern and simple style, the room can accommodate multiple people! The rooms feature a minimalist MUJI-style design, with ample space for multiple large suitcases. They are equipped with TOTO bathroom fixtures, and some rooms include a bathtub. The Daikin air conditioner provides excellent cooling and soundproofing. However, some rooms may not match the photos on the booking website. A quad room may actually have three beds plus a sofa bed, lacking wardrobes or other storage space. The TVs have streaming media service, and the entertainment system is comprehensive. While the overall room quality is good, it's recommended to confirm the room specifications in detail when booking to avoid disappointment.
- Dining space and public facilities: The rest space is spacious and comfortable, and the rooftop infinity pool is a selling point! The hotel's first-floor lobby is spacious and comfortable, decorated in a hipster style. The rooftop features an infinity pool, open until 10 PM, offering views of Naha Port and the city. The illuminated pool creates a lovely atmosphere at night, but the water quality could be improved. Free alcohol and beverages are available by the pool until 8 PM. There are changing rooms and a towel dryer, but only one shower room. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet, with a refined but limited selection. The hotel has only about 10 washing machines, which sometimes require late nights to use.
- Transportation and surroundings: Close to Asahibashi Monorail Station and Kokusai-dori, with numerous convenience stores and restaurants nearby! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Asahibashi Light Rail Station, making it ideal for travelers without a car. There's a 7-11 downstairs, Lawson across the street, and numerous restaurants and shops nearby. Behind the hotel is the renowned JACK'S STEAK HOUSE. A taxi to Kokusai-dori Street costs about 600-1000 yen. Parking is available in a mechanical multi-story parking garage for 1800 yen per day, but spaces are limited and waiting times can be long. There are also other surface parking lots nearby, charging 12-800 yen for 1000 hours.
