The brand story of Yanbo International Tourism Group

Lakeshore International Tourism Group (Lakeshore Groupsite) is a Taiwanese hotel chain group, which is affiliated to ChunFu. ChunFu established the Construction Division in 1982 and started from the construction business. In 1996, it established the Hotel Division to start the hotel business. In the same year, it opened its first base, Hsinchu Lakeside Pavilion. Currently, it has 7 bases under its umbrella and is carrying out the Hualien Taroko Phase II and Su-Ao Phase II extension projects at the same time.

In 2021, on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Yanbo International Tourism Group, the brand-new brand "The Moment Hotel" (The Moment Hotel) will be launched, and two bases in Yilan and Hualien will be launched at the same time.Among them, the Yilan base is to take over the Master of Arts Travel, which ceased operations on August 2021, 8, and the Hualien base is the Yanbo Hualien Taroko branch opened in March 31. Both of them have the geographical advantage of beautiful waterfront landscapes.

"I honestly think the criticism of China Travel Service is not without reason. Everyone is tired from work and wants a comfortable place to rest on their holidays, not to end up feeling frustrated. My first stay at Yanbo Hotel was quite comfortable, but this time it ended in utter disbelief… First, the shortcomings: 1. The showerhead was old and couldn't even be hung properly, let alone adjusted. 2. I suggest removing the door separating the wet and dry areas, because the gaps are so large that both inside and outside are wet, making it impossible to achieve proper separation; it's just an empty space. 3. I can understand the policy factor of bringing your own toothpaste and toothbrush, but during my two-night stay, the welcome drinks, tea bags, and cookies in the room were untouched. Only on the last night, after finishing the oolong tea bag, I asked the housekeeping for another cup of hot tea the next morning, and they were stingy! The housekeeping said: 'Oh, we have a fixed number of tea bags allocated!' You're charging me for one night and you're still fussing over one or two tea bags? I didn't want a whole bag!!!" 4. The room is surrounded by bamboo groves, so there are a lot of mosquitoes. They'll kindly light mosquito coils outside the door for you, but the door gap is huge, so you can see inside from outside. Sharing mosquito coils with the mosquitoes is rather unromantic. 5. Luckily, the hotel knew the room was far from the entrance and that luggage would need to be transported by car. However, when I finally got my luggage, I found it was at the very back. When I asked the staff for help, they just stood there and asked me to move other people's luggage out so they could get their own. 6. This hotel reserves all the best parking spaces closest to the hotel for official vehicles, forcing guests to park in a parking lot that's over a small hill. If you check in late, the parking lot will be full of other guests, forcing you to park even further away, where you'll get rained on in winter and exposed to the sun in summer. 7. Breakfast is limited to 90 minutes because there are very few seats and the space is cramped. Advantages: 1. The bed is quite comfortable. 2. They have evening tours and shows, which children should enjoy. 3. The breakfast selection is quite diverse and tasty. 4. The air quality in Yilan is truly exceptional. Although there has been intermittent rain these past few days, the cultural and scenic aspects are incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, I suggest that Yanbo Hotel not just offer perfunctory replies. You have excellent scenery and culture; please improve your facilities and staff training to avoid making guests feel like they're paying to suffer.

"●These reviews are definitely fake● My three stars are for the hardworking uncle who carried my luggage and for the good night's sleep in the bed!! I booked it because it's from the Lakeshore Group, but I regretted it after checking in!! Because…it's completely not worth it!! Cons: There's a distance between the accommodation area and the lobby. The park is very large, and although there's a luggage service, we handled it ourselves. The signs to the accommodation area weren't very clear, causing us to wander around the park with our luggage, unable to find our room for a long time. The lighting at night is severely inadequate—extremely dark! Be careful when leaving your room, as you can easily get lost. The parking lot also has no lighting; it's pitch black, so be careful if you're driving. The room lighting is dim, the light source can't be adjusted, and there's no wardrobe or hangers, only four hooks nailed to the wall. There's nowhere to put your coat because it just falls to the ground; you can only drape it over the chair. It's a huge oversight!!" There was no bottled drinking water in the room; we had to go to the tea room to get water. We were conveniently located next to the tea room, but the hot water was locked, which was really baffling. There was an area called "Zuo Huo" next to the hotel lobby, a place for guests to rest or have a snack. However, while there were biscuits provided, there were no tongs or containers. Seeing guests having to take the biscuits with their bare hands and use cups to catch the crumbs was really unacceptable. We booked a four-person bunk bed room, which consisted of a living area and a bedroom area. However, the sofa in the living area had a very short seat and a low back, making it very difficult to sit! Advantages: There were evening programs, worth watching; this is where the review came up because there was a small gift for reviewing. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept well all night! During check-in, the front desk asked about the breakfast time for the next morning. There was a clear flow of people, the food was replenished quickly, and there was a wide variety of choices, which I felt was sufficient. Conclusion: With this level of quality, one experience is enough. Just thinking about how uncomfortable the sofa in the room was, and how it completely lacked the relaxing feel of a vacation, I would never go back!

"I arrived at the lobby around 18 a.m. on the day of my stay. I had a discount coupon that I wanted to use, so while I was still checking how to use the self-service check-in machine, a hotel staff member appeared and led me to another counter. I was allowed to freely enter and exit the National Centre for the Performing Arts from the day of my stay until 00 p.m. the next day. I was also given a voucher that could be used to print a photo (I entered the number on the printing machine). After checking in, I left my luggage in the lobby. When it was time to check in, I went to the counter to get my card. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful." I had heard about the hotel's abundant and varied breakfast, so I assumed the dinner would be good as well. Therefore, I chose the hotel's one-night stay with two meals included. However, dinner was served at the Man Zhuan Lou restaurant in the National Center for Traditional Arts, not within the hotel premises. I had already selected the dining time when booking online. The restaurant staff were friendly, but the dinner itself was... well, let's just say it was disappointing. It included pork soup with rice noodles, two plates of meat, a vegetable platter, and salted tofu pudding. The vegetable platter and hot pot ingredients were free to refill, and there were some side dishes available. The freshness of the food needed improvement. Compared to breakfast, the dinner was a huge disappointment, and the overall experience was poor. The hotel's outdoor environment was great, which I liked, but it felt poorly maintained. I don't know if it's due to staff shortages or something else, but it's a pity that such a nice environment is poorly maintained. When checking out, dragging my luggage from the room to the lobby, the uneven surface was quite unfriendly. The hotel staff I encountered at check-out were very helpful in offering assistance, which was great. Next time I have the opportunity to stay, I won't choose dinner again, and I hope the hotel can improve its environmental maintenance.
