Overall Review: Actual Accommodation Reviews of the Super Hotel Osaka Natural Onsen Yumoto Hananoi

The Osaka Natural Hot Spring Super Hotel is a budget-friendly hot spring hotel offering excellent value for money. Its cypress-style lobby, renovated in early 2024, provides comprehensive self-service. Located about 6-8 minutes from the subway station, the surrounding area boasts excellent amenities and a safe environment. The downsides are that breakfast is only served until 9:00 AM, and the rooms are relatively small. Overall, it's suitable for families with children on a budget who want to experience hot springs, business travelers, and is also recommended for those planning to visit attractions around Osaka Port such as the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan and LEGOLAND.

  • Service features and brand characteristics: A Japanese chain of hot spring hotels, emphasizing environmentally friendly self-service and a healthy lifestyle! Super Hotel Osaka completed its renovation in early 2024, making extensive use of native Japanese cypress wood. Upon entering the lobby, one is greeted by a subtle cypress aroma, creating a bright yet traditionally Japanese ambiance. The hotel employs a self-service model, including self-check-in and check-out machines, a self-service amenities area, and offers pillows of varying firmness, disposable toiletries, and room clothing as a choice. The staff are friendly, professional, and multilingual. A futuristic electronic luggage storage system is also available for storing luggage before and after check-in.
  • Room type and facilities: The rooms are exquisite but fully equipped, suitable for a small family of three! The rooms are primarily 20-square-meter twin rooms. While not spacious, they offer excellent natural light. Each room features two small double beds placed side-by-side, making them very practical for families with children. All rooms use push-button electronic locks; a password slip will be provided upon check-in. The bathrooms are small but equipped with a standard bathtub and a bidet toilet. Some rooms offer views of the harbor, allowing guests to enjoy the sunset during the day and the romantic view of the fishing boats at night. Special toiletries are provided for women, along with canvas bags for carrying changes of clothes to the hot spring baths.
  • Dining spaces and public facilities: The natural hot spring baths are incredibly therapeutic, and the complimentary welcome bar is a major selling point! The most distinctive feature of the entire facility is the chloride spring water sourced from approximately 1000 meters underground, which is said to soothe fatigue, promote blood circulation, and moisturize the skin. The environment is maintained exceptionally clean, featuring saunas, cold springs, and jacuzzi. It is well-ventilated without feeling stuffy, and the women's bath entrance is password protected. The first-floor restaurant serves a buffet breakfast until 9:00 AM, offering Osaka-style fried skewers, takoyaki, and Japanese cold noodles. From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, it transforms into a bar, offering complimentary soft drinks and coffee. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, complimentary alcoholic beverages are available, and guests can mix their own cocktails.
  • Transportation and surrounding environment: Located in a quiet residential area, with convenient access to Osaka's main attractions! The hotel is located at Awaza Station, where the Chuo Line and Sennichimae Line of the subway intersect. It's a 6-8 minute walk from Exit 9. For those with large luggage, Exit 3, which has an elevator, is recommended. Awaza Station isn't as bustling as Shinsaibashi or Namba; instead, it's a relatively quiet residential area with good safety and wide sidewalks. A small port is opposite the hotel, and bus number 88 provides direct access to Osaka Station. A 7-Eleven convenience store is next door, and a large supermarket, 11-yen shop, and Matsuya are all within a 5-minute walk. While not in a busy shopping district, it offers a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
