It was my first self-guided trip to Tokyo without Wendy. I was worried that I was not familiar with Tokyo’s complicated transportation network. After discussing with him, I decided to choose the Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International in Asakusa. , Firstly, I brought my sister to play. It was her first time traveling to Japan. The classic attractions in this area are not to be missed. Secondly, Narita Airport can take the Keisei-Narita Airport Line directly to Asakusa. After staying for these two days, we were very satisfied with the hotel. Regarding the relevant advantages, I would like to sort it out and share it with you while the memory is still there. Quick Facts: A basic introduction to Richmond Hotel Asakusa International Premium

Reservation:agoda|booking.com|Trip|klook

The Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International opened in December 2015 and has received consistently positive reviews from Agoda. While the hotel is a distance from Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, it's very close to Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, a mere 12-3 minute walk away. A short stop to Akihabara, where you can transfer to the Yamanote Line, provides convenient access to other attractions and major stations.

Temporary planning of the Tokyo party. I came to Tokyo with my two younger sisters, so I really spent a lot of thought on the hotel selection, mainly to be able to accommodate three people in an extra bed, the price should not be too high, and the room space should not be too small for convenience Business hotels such as APA, Toyoko Inn, Super Hotel, etc. were eliminated when the trophies were collected.I went to Fukuoka in May this year. I stayed at the Richmond Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin near Tenjin Station. It also has the advantages of being located in a shopping district, a 10-minute walk from the subway station and the room size is not too small, so I decided to stay in this new Asakusa hotel. ▲ Let's take a look at the room equipment.

What room type is recommended? Richmond Asakusa International Premium Hotel is a 13-story building with a total of 270 rooms, offering 5 room types to choose from.

Room Type空间bedNumber of people
Standard double room18㎡1 double bed (1.5 meters wide)2

Twin Room with View27㎡2 single beds (1.2 meters wide)2
Deluxe Twin Room with View27-30m22 single beds (1.2 meters wide)2
Corner Twin Room33㎡2 single beds (1.1 meters wide)2

On the first night, my little sister and I stayed in the same room. I chose the first room type "Standard Double Room". The room has all the furnishings and equipment. It has a separate desk and free Wi-Fi, so that guests can work in the room. Internet and so on.The width of the bed is enough so that two people will not be too crowded and uncomfortable to sleep. At the initial price of 3 a night, it is actually not too expensive. The bathroom also has complete accessories, and even a small package of mouthwash. The hair dryer provided is very easy to use. After returning to Taiwan to check the price, I found out that it is a Sharp hair dryer. The price is about 4 yuan. I have to say The restaurant is really making a big difference.

On the second night, we three sisters stayed together. The hotel arranged a premium view room with an extra bed in addition to the two beds. The aisle between the beds was inevitably a little smaller, but for a guest like me who attaches great importance to sleep, these two nights It was very comfortable to sleep in. The bed was high enough and the pillows were hard and soft. Even my eldest sister praised this hotel. When she was about to go to the next hotel the next day, she asked why not stay again? The problem is... the hotel is very popular and I can't get a reservation for the next few days! (Grab the head)(🔎Reservation price and accommodation evaluation:agoda|booking.com|Trip|klook)

How to get there by car? Transportation information and surrounding environment of Richmond Hotel Asakusa International Premium

We took Scoot to Narita Airport Terminal 750, and after exiting customs, we took the Keisei Narita Airport Line all the way to Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line. Before departure, we checked the location map. This hotel is located near Asakusa Kaminarimon and Kinryuyama Sensoji Temple. Therefore, you can walk XNUMX meters with the crowd and carry your luggage.Of course, there are no escalators and box elevators at Asakusa Station. It is best if you have a strong man who can assist you in lifting your luggage. Go out of the station to the direction of Kaminarimon, and the road is smooth and easy to carry your luggage. At the end of the article, I will explain where there are box elevators and The route is more direct.

The surrounding environment of the hotel is very convenient. One is that the 1st to 4th floors of this building of the hotel are various small shops and restaurants, which sell various agricultural products, souvenirs and alcoholic beverages. You can go there during business hours. Additional purchases or meals; the second is the 24-hour Ji'an Temple opposite, and there are Yoshinoya, Matsuya, McDonald’s, etc. nearby, and the walking time does not exceed 3 minutes. In addition, if you want to buy Japanese brand products such as cosmeceuticals, Uniqulo, and MUJI, you can also start at the nearby shopping mall.

My younger sister made a special trip to Kappabashi Kitchenware Street to buy a lot of kitchenware. There are more than 170 shops clustered along this 800-meter stretch of street, which is also near the restaurant. You can definitely buy some to take back to the restaurant and then go out for another shopping spree.

Overall Review: Actual Accommodation Reviews of Richmond Asakusa International Luxury Hotel

Richmond Asakusa International Luxury Hotel is located in the heart of Asakusa's bustling district, just a 1-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express. Surrounded by shops and restaurants, some rooms offer views of Tokyo Skytree and Senso-ji Temple. Breakfast features an 80-item Japanese and Western buffet, with freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly made omelets being particularly popular. The main drawbacks are: a significant increase in room rates due to a surge in foreign tourists in recent years; occasional lapses in room cleanliness; inconsistent air conditioning performance; and a decline in the quality of breakfast rice. Overall, it's suitable for tourists who value location, views, and breakfast quality, and is also recommended for those who appreciate the charm of old-town areas.

  • Service features and brand characteristics: attentive service and international hospitality, practical services and facilities! This hotel belongs to the upscale section of the Richmond chain, and its overall service level is excellent, with front desk staff speaking fluent English. A welcome drink voucher is provided upon check-in, which can be redeemed for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages at the fifth-floor restaurant, offering stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree. Elevators require a room key to use, and complimentary coffee is available in the lobby. Each floor has self-service laundry facilities, ice makers, and vending machines. Female guests receive a complimentary face mask and small packages of skincare products upon check-in. However, due to the recent surge in inbound tourists to Japan, room rates have nearly doubled, and the cleanliness has occasionally declined.
  • Room type selection and equipment features: The space is acceptable, but the air conditioning is unreliable. Rooms with a view are worth upgrading! The hotel offers a variety of room types, including single rooms, standard double rooms, standard twin rooms, and scenic rooms, with some rooms accommodating up to three people. Room sizes are medium by Japanese standards; while not spacious, they are large enough to accommodate luggage. Some rooms feature a separate shower, toilet, and washbasin area for convenience. Mattresses are from Simmons. Scenic rooms offer direct views of Tokyo Skytree and Senso-ji Temple, with captivating views changing day and night, making an upgrade worthwhile. The downsides are inconsistent air conditioning performance and the lack of bedside tables or other amenities.
  • Dining space and public facilities: Breakfast dishes are plentiful and freshly squeezed juices are available; consistent quality is essential! The Premier Lounge restaurant on the fifth floor offers a buffet breakfast with 80 kinds of Japanese and Western dishes, including freshly made omelets and bread, as well as Edo-style dishes such as Fukagawa clam rice and eel rice. The freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices are particularly popular. Window seats offer excellent views of the Tokyo Skytree while you dine, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Complimentary freshly ground coffee is available at the restaurant entrance for takeaway. However, the quality of the rice has noticeably declined in recent years, and the restaurant is often crowded. While a welcome drink service is provided, the selection of soft drinks is limited.
  • Transportation and surrounding environment: 1 minute walk from Asakusa Station, with many shopping and dining options nearby! The hotel is a 1-minute walk from Exit A1 of Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line, and an 8-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Toei Asakusa Line. Floors one through four are dedicated to commercial facilities, including a Uniqlo store downstairs, a 24-hour Don Quijote across the street, numerous convenience stores, and various restaurants such as Ichiran Ramen, conveyor belt sushi, Yoshinoya, and Matsuya. Senso-ji Temple's Kaminarimon Gate and Hanayashiki amusement park are within walking distance, as are attractions like Kappabashi Toy Street, the Sumida River, and Tokyo Skytree.

"I've never been very familiar with the area around Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, known as Asakusa 6-ku, because it's a bit of a walk from both Toei and Tokyo Metro Asakusa Stations. However, Don Quijote's information shows that this Asakusa branch is one of my readers' favorites, meaning many Taiwanese friends stay in this area, so I've always wanted to stay here. Recently, two Richmond Hotels have become very popular: one is Oshiage Skytree Town, and the other is this Asakusa branch. There's a Uniqlo downstairs, and a 24-hour Donki Asakusa store across the street. There's a LIFE supermarket next to the View Hotel, and a 24-hour Seiyu food store downstairs from the ROX supermarket near the station. The amenities are very convenient. It's one stop to the Oedo Line on the Tsukuba Express, and two stops to Akihabara, so transportation is okay. Half of the rooms have a view of the Skytree from the window, but unfortunately, I stayed on the other side." Asakusa's sixth ward was a famous entertainment district dating back to the Meiji era. In 1890, Ryounkaku Tower, commonly known as the "Asakusa Twelve Steps," was built here, arguably Japan's first renowned observation deck! Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed in the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. There's a memorial to Ryounkaku Tower in front of an OK Mart supermarket near the hotel.

"Highly recommended! We booked a twin room for 2 adults and 2 children. The location, transportation, shopping, and dining options are all excellent. The room was quite spacious for a Tokyo hotel. Amenities (makeup remover, face wash, lotion, toner, face masks, etc.) were available for free at the front desk. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that there were only 6 washing machines available, which were in high demand. Because of the frequent use, there was some lint left on the machines. They should probably be cleaned more thoroughly. But I would definitely book again if I have the chance to stay in the area."

Overall, it was good. The location is excellent, right next to Tokyo Skytree, and there's a supermarket next door that's open until midnight, making shopping very convenient. The room was quite large for Japanese standards, and everything was provided. Room cleaning is optional, but I kept seeing hair along the edge of the bathtub, so there's room for improvement in cleanliness. The bottled water wasn't refilled, but the Tokyo Skytree design was quite a souvenir. Some of the hotel staff were very friendly, while others were a bit indifferent.
