REGIONIA by Quintessa, located in front of Sapporo Station, is a business hotel with a modern and welcoming lobby. It features a specially designed welcome area with a local flair, where guests can enjoy Hokkaido sweets, cookies, and a welcome drink on their first day of check-in. However, the quantity and duration of these offerings are limited, so arriving early is recommended. The hotel also provides convenient amenities such as a microwave, ice maker, vending machines, and a self-service laundry room.
REGIONIA by Quintessa features a buffet breakfast restaurant that specializes in local dishes and live cooking. It offers 70 items at the buffet bar and has three live cooking areas: a sushi bar with professional chefs, a teppanyaki grill, and a Hokkaido ramen area. The fact that guests can enjoy Genghis Khan barbecue and Sapporo ramen with their own choice of soup base and noodles right in the hotel is the hotel's biggest selling point and a breakfast lineup rarely seen in business hotels of the same level.

"I stayed one night for two days. My overall impression is that while the hotel's location and other aspects are commendable, I felt the price-performance ratio was slightly low. [Location] Although the hotel is located in a small alley, it's close to Sapporo Station, so I thought the location was good. [Reception/Public Areas] Perhaps because it just opened, the fragrance of flowers was very strong upon entering, permeating the entire building; I personally found it a bit pungent. The quick check-in system requiring pre-registration and signatures was convenient. However, since final approval by staff is required, I think there might be waiting times during peak hours. It feels like the hotel hasn't fully utilized its digital advantages, and I hope future operations will improve. Furthermore, when I went to store my luggage before check-in, there were two staff members near the self-service check-in machine. One staff member greeted me, but the other was working in front of me with their elbows resting on the table, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. While this might be acceptable during off-peak hours, when there are many guests, being more considerate would leave a better impression. This refers to the woman wearing a mask and glasses at the front desk around noon on June 4th. As other reviews have mentioned..." There are stairs around the reception area, and due to the numerous steps and obstructed view, extra caution is required. Furthermore, the limited number of payment terminals makes using them feel time-consuming. Overall, the hotel seems to have focused too much on design, resulting in some aspects appearing slightly cluttered from a user's perspective. Of course, this isn't entirely the designer's fault, but future improvements will enhance the user experience. [Guest Rooms] Since the hotel has only been open for a week, the rooms were clean and tidy. I stayed alone in a double room (designed for two people), but the room was a bit cramped; two people might find it a bit crowded. Some might even find a single room in a typical business hotel more spacious. Additionally, the air conditioning, even at its highest and lowest settings, wasn't very effective at cooling; opening the window actually made it cooler. This was the most uncomfortable aspect for me personally. Moreover, despite the room being designed for two people, there was only one power outlet and two USB-A ports by the bed. USB-C interfaces are now widespread, and I think more power outlets would be more convenient. [Breakfast] While the variety of dishes wasn't extensive, the food itself was of good quality and tasted quite good. In this respect, I think it's worth the price. However, despite the restaurant's limited capacity, they seem to have increased the number of seats, resulting in slightly narrow aisles and limited foot traffic, making it somewhat inconvenient to use. Therefore, it's often crowded even on weekdays, sometimes making it difficult to dine quietly. Additionally, there was a sense that they sometimes couldn't clean and replenish tableware promptly, but the staff were consistently smiling and polite, leaving a good impression. On the other hand, there were some confusing or slightly inappropriate details, such as: - Although a high-performance toaster was installed, the toaster tongs and butter knife were missing. - The meat section lacked instructions on how to order or what dishes were included. - Certain types of sushi in the sushi section were frequently out of stock and required inquiry. I know this is because the restaurant is newly opened, but I believe customer satisfaction would be higher if these issues were addressed. 【Overall Impression】 In conclusion, I currently feel this accommodation is slightly overpriced. I know it's newly opened and undergoing some adjustments, but I think improvements should be made from the user's perspective as soon as possible. Looking at other users' reviews, I found similar opinions, so I don't think this is just my personal feeling. I believe that if these opinions are taken as positive feedback and used for improvement, this accommodation will become even better in the future. I probably won't stay here again, but I look forward to its future improvements.

"I checked in on the third day after the grand opening. First, the parking lot has a height restriction of 1.6 meters, so I couldn't get in. The partner parking lot was also full, and the hotel gave me a map of nearby parking lots to find myself. The hotel has no front desk; there are two self-service check-in machines at the entrance (only accepting credit cards, not cash), and another one inside that accepts cash. I had already prepaid for the room, but after scanning the QR code, it showed the total amount for the room and accommodation tax. After I told the staff, they told me 'the situation is the same as before,' and then asked me to wait for them to confirm with each other, which resulted in me having to confirm again. They really need to resolve this issue as soon as possible to ensure a smooth check-in process. The room was a compact double room without a desk, making it difficult to work while on a business trip." The breakfast advertisement said it started serving at 7:00 AM, but perhaps due to anticipated high demand, it opened at 6:40 AM. There weren't many customers ahead of me, so I got to eat easily. However, at 7:00 AM sharp, customers who arrived as soon as it opened flooded in, forming a long queue at the sushi counter. The sushi toppings were placed on pre-made rice balls, making it feel like eating cheap sushi at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The selection was limited, and the taste wasn't anything special. I booked a special set meal when it first opened, but during peak season it seems to cost over 20,000 yen, so I won't be coming back. Also, even in the smoking area, it seemed like regular cigarettes weren't allowed.

"This hotel is newly opened and very clean, but it's just a typical business hotel. Their breakfast is their selling point, and it is indeed delicious, but I checked in at 7 am and waited 30 minutes to get breakfast, so I recommend allowing plenty of time. The overall layout of the hotel is terrible. There's a step between the entrance and the reception area that tripped several people. Why put such a dangerous step in the main passageway? The hotel is dimly lit, and many people probably don't even notice it. To get to the vending machine area on the second floor, you have to go through a mysterious automatic door after exiting the elevator (haha). It looks like a wall, and many people get lost because they don't notice it. Also, my phone and my own Wi-Fi couldn't connect in the room, making it very difficult to work. The hotel's Wi-Fi is shared throughout the building, so I didn't dare to connect to work and ended up not getting anything done. In addition, perhaps because it was my first day, I couldn't use the pre-prepared QR code to check in and had to go through the same process again, which was very annoying."
