"A weekday stay using a HafH subscription costs about 630 yen, which is roughly equivalent to 4500 yen. In short, it's incredibly cost-effective for a stay around this price, given the generally high prices for accommodations in Shinjuku and throughout Tokyo. This hotel has a great Japanese atmosphere with a perfectly balanced business style, excellent service, and the front desk staff speaks fluent English (mostly for Western guests). The rooftop terrace bath is a big plus (but it's quite popular, so I recommend going immediately upon check-in or early the next morning). Enjoying a soak with popsicles and the view is a true delight. The rooms aren't large, but there's enough space to walk around with your luggage. If you're traveling with children or have a lot of luggage, you'll need to book a larger room, but that won't be as affordable. Breakfast costs 2500 yen, which I found acceptable and quite enjoyable. The only downside is its distance from the station (about 1 km from Shinjuku Station). If you find it too far, just take an Uber."

"We booked the most basic room type, which was indeed quite small, but I thought it was fine for two people. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly and polite. The large public bath on the 18th floor was very comfortable; I heard that hot spring water is delivered from Hakone every day, so you must go and soak in it. After soaking in the hot spring, there are popsicles available for self-service, which are all delicious. It's a great way to relax after sightseeing in Tokyo. There's a convenience store downstairs, and a fairly large supermarket within a 3-minute walk, making it convenient to buy food and fruit. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. But we chatted as we walked, and before we knew it, we had arrived. If you need to carry luggage, I suggest taking a taxi depending on your situation and physical condition; Uber prices aren't too high these days. We didn't get to try their breakfast this time, but I hope we'll have the chance in the future."

📍Transportation: The location is slightly inconvenient, about a 20-minute walk from the station, but there's a 711-Eleven across the street and several convenience stores along the road. 📍Room: The room is spacious and stylish! The floor is tatami mat, and the sink is outside the toilet, making makeup application very convenient. Amenities include a basic toothbrush and comb, as well as facial care products and small snacks. 📍Service: The front desk staff speaks English, and you can leave your luggage before check-in. There are lockers outside the bathtub for personal belongings. The bathtub is divided into indoor and outdoor sections; be sure to try the outdoor one – the night view while you enjoy the bath is amazing.
