THE NEW hotel Kumamoto (ザ・ニューホテルKUMAmoto) was formerly known as HOTEL NEW OTANI KUMAMOTO. It was renamed and re-opened in 2017. The first phase of the renovation project was launched in April 2020. It is positioned as a boutique hotel and renovated for reception. After the lobby and some guest room floors, the second phase of the hotel's renovation project will be launched again in December 4. It will also be renamed ONE STATION HOTEL, using "ONE" to appeal to the design concept of becoming the gateway to Kumamoto.
