This was my first trip to Yokohama at the end of September this year, and I chose to stay at the Hilton Hotel 💛. It's very convenient as you can take a direct bus from Haneda Airport! Although the hotel is a bit of a walk from Yokohama Station, it's a great place to stroll around on a nice day. The nearest station is Shin-Takashima Station on the Minato Mirai Line. After exiting the station, cross the street and walk for a few minutes towards the Anpanman Museum. (Note that when taking the train from Yokohama Station, you need to take a "stop at all stations" train to Shin-Takashima Station.) The elevator at the hotel entrance goes to the lobby level first, then you need to transfer to another elevator to reach your room. If you want to go directly to your room, you can use the side entrance next to the K-Arena shop! (Please refer to the third picture.) K-Arena gets very crowded during concerts or other events, so it's recommended to avoid peak times to avoid getting stuck. (If you're going to a concert there, I highly recommend staying at the Hilton; you can buy some merchandise and then return to the hotel easily after the concert 🤭) I booked the hotel's afternoon tea buffet, which featured chestnut-themed items for autumn. The food is mainly desserts, with fewer savory options, making it suitable for dessert lovers. I'd love to return during strawberry season! I was extremely satisfied with my stay ☺️ The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and I slept well, and the staff were friendly and polite. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yokohama!

The location is excellent; the hotel is right next to Exit 4 of Nippon-Odori Station on the Minato Mirai Line, accessible by elevator. We stayed for two nights, starting from the last Sunday of Golden Week. My daughter's family brought their dog, so we stayed in a separate room. I've previously stayed at the OMO7 hotel in Osaka and Asahikawa, and I think this hotel is particularly suitable for guests with dogs. While there are dog-friendly rooms in Osaka and Asahikawa, there aren't many places to walk dogs, so we had to take our dog to a park quite far away. The hotel in Yokohama, on the other hand, has indoor and outdoor dog play areas, and you can even eat and drink with your dog in the indoor dog play area. In the Kansai area, some restaurants allow you to dine with your dog on the terrace, but that's not possible when the weather is bad, so being able to eat and drink in the indoor dog play area is incredibly convenient. Furthermore, while the dog-friendly rooms are bright and spacious, the Bridge Room we stayed in had no windows (or rather, only unusable frosted glass windows), making the room dimly lit, which wasn't very convenient for older people. The attic stairs were steep, and the bedroom ceiling was low; people over 150cm tall could easily bump their heads. The bathroom and toilet were separate and very clean, which was great, but for some reason, there was no bathtub. Dogs are not allowed at the buffet breakfast, so you can buy a breakfast set at the bakery and enjoy it in the dog play area or on the terrace. The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of the park and Chinatown, making it very convenient. If you are not bringing your dog, this hotel may only be considered average.

Title: A Special Night at a Renovated Historic Hotel overlooking Yokohama Baseball Stadium I recently stayed at a hotel renovated from the former Yokohama City Hall building, very close to both Kanai Station and Yokohama Baseball Stadium. This hotel is interesting, with a unique atmosphere, somewhere between a business hotel and a resort. I chose a duplex twin room. What I found amusing was that opening the door felt like stepping into a lobby, where you could take off your shoes and relax. Walking around barefoot or in socks was indeed very comfortable. Because it was a duplex, the bedroom ceiling was slightly low, but this actually made the living room feel more spacious. The sofa at the back of the living room was particularly comfortable; I ended up lying there for a long time. The separate bathroom, sink, and toilet were also highlights. Of course, renovated buildings inevitably have some "minor flaws." For example, the stairs in the room, the long corridor from the elevator to the room, and the windows with limited views… However, considering that these changes were made to utilize this historic building that was once the city hall, I developed a special affection for it. I usually stay at the nearby Toyoko Inn when I go to baseball games, but occasionally indulging here is quite nice. The evening view of Yokohama Stadium from the terrace was unforgettable. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I go to a game and enjoy another wonderful evening.

We booked a room with a washing machine through Agoda, but the staff on duty told us they could only offer a room without one (that's what they saw). We immediately showed them our Agoda booking confirmation that the room had a washing machine. The manager on duty said it was a matter between us and Agoda and we had to call them ourselves to confirm… But at least we traveled a long way and met face-to-face; they seemed genuinely trying to help us clarify things. The only solution was to tell us to confirm it ourselves, and that it had nothing to do with the hotel… This is strange. If that's the case, why does the hotel allow other booking platforms to book? You authorize booking websites and then expect guests to take responsibility when something goes wrong? What kind of attitude is this? They really need to improve their staff's problem-solving skills! And the person we encountered that day was the manager on duty! Update: After confirming with Agoda, the room type provided by the supplier was the same as the one Agoda booked for us. It's all the hotel's fault, but their attitude is to tell us to handle it ourselves. In May 2026, we had a wonderful time at the Hilton Garden Inn Yokohama. As foreign tourists from the United States, we found the hotel very comfortable. The single king room was much more spacious than we expected. The room itself wasn't large, but it was sufficient for our needs. The room was equipped with a mini-fridge, an electric kettle with a pour-over coffee maker, and basic bathroom amenities. More importantly, the shower was large and high, allowing my 188cm tall husband to shower comfortably. The towels were large and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and we were given four large pillows. We stayed for eight days and had breakfast three times. Breakfast cost 3800 yen per person, which we felt was a bit expensive. Breakfast was a buffet with many choices, including Western, European, Chinese, and traditional Japanese breakfasts. The variety was extensive, so there was something for everyone, and we weren't disappointed, just that having breakfast every day was a bit too expensive for us. The hotel itself was a five-star experience. We just wish it were closer to Yokohama Station for easier transportation.

After attending the concert at K Arena, I stayed overnight to relax. My room was upgraded from a high-floor suite with an ocean view to a deluxe high-floor suite with an ocean view, and check-out time was extended by an hour, making my stay very comfortable. Thanks to the microwave at the reception on the 20th floor, even after room service ended, I could still easily buy snacks to heat up at the convenience store on the first floor. The hotel staff were all very friendly and smiling. If you want full-service, you can choose the Conrad, but this simple and modern hotel is also very comfortable.

We stayed at the Yokohama Kannai Comento Hotel on July 13th.TripWhen we first found it, we thought it was just an ordinary hotel, but when we arrived, we were amazed by how wonderful it was! The moment we entered, we were greeted by a wonderful fragrance, and the staff were incredibly polite and courteous. The three of us stayed in a four-person room with bunk beds, a small living area, and separate shower and toilet areas. There were even double sinks, so no one had to fight over them! 😁 The hotel has a large public bath, which my daughter and I went to soak in on our first night – it was so relaxing! On the first floor, there's all-you-can-drink lemonade and incredibly delicious fruit tea; we always had a cup or two whenever we passed by. There's a Lawson's next door, and an AEON supermarket just around the corner. A little further away, there's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven – super convenient. Next door is a concert hall, and the Kannei subway station and JR Sakuragicho station are just a five-minute walk away. My husband didn't come this time, but we've decided to come back as a family next time and stay here again! 😍😁

I absolutely loved this hotel! I'd definitely come back! The location is fantastic; there's a Starbucks on the second floor, but the convenience store is a bit far. The English at the counter was great, so communication was easy. The room wasn't super big, but the layout was very reasonable. There was room to put a suitcase under the bed. The bathroom was huge and very clean. The showerhead was a Refa, and the hairdryer was a Dyson. They provided face masks, SK-II skincare products, drip coffee, and bath powder. The fridge also had welcome drinks and chocolate. The provided pillows were one soft and one firm, so we asked the front desk for two extra. They also provided one soft and one firm pillow, which was just right for us. However, you don't need to buy extra for breakfast, haha. Only the curry rice and pasta were really good.

However, both room types had issues with running water noise at night. One room on a lower floor facing the railway tracks even resonated with the sound of passing trains, indicating poor soundproofing. The hotel appears close to Sakuragicho on Google Maps, but it's actually quite difficult to navigate due to the bridges and roads separating it from the main area. For those who can carry their luggage across a short section of the skybridge, here's a quick route: Exit from Sakuragicho South Exit, walk about 10 meters forward until you see an elevator leading to the skybridge. Cross the skybridge, carry your luggage down the stairs, and you'll reach the vicinity of "Brans Yokohama Pedal Street Legend." After crossing one traffic light, you'll arrive at the hotel. Other routes include going through the subway underground shopping area or taking a detour to another exit of Sakuragicho, but these aren't very intuitive. It's recommended that those in a rush plan ahead, otherwise you might find yourself unable to reach the area even if you can see it. The front desk staff were quite businesslike and forgot to provide instructions on the Wi-Fi password. Room sizes vary slightly but are generally small, and the desk is sometimes blocked by the bed, making it difficult to use.

If you want to visit Don Quijote, it's about a 12-minute walk, perfect for a stroll. Yokohama Stadium is also only about a 10-minute walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient! 【Rooms and Facilities】 Room Amenities: I stayed in a single cabin (lower bunk) on the 4th floor. The room had a TV, but the sound required headphones (the hotel provided headphones). The toilet and bathroom were located in the public area outside the room; remember to carry your room key with you. A capsule hotel that offers excellent value for money. The women's area was very quiet overall. I stayed in a bed near the entrance, and there was some noise from people coming and going, but I'm not a sensitive person, so I slept very well. Free water, Yakult, popsicles, SK-II lotion and emulsion, two washing machines (dryer is extra), and massage chairs, etc... It's a bit of a shame that there's no freshly cooked ramen during late-night snack time, as it's a self-service instant noodle shop. You can reserve a private private hot spring bath for 40 minutes per person. When you're done, they drain the water, and the staff goes back to clean and refill the tub for the next guest – great!
