📍Transportation: The location is very convenient, right next to Hankyu Station. It's easy to get to Himeji Castle, Akashi Bridge, and other places. The building is also tall and unique. Being close to Sannomiya, you can easily walk back to the hotel without navigation. 🏨 📍Amenities: A welcome gift is provided to each person on the first day. The hotel also provides an ice maker, self-service amenities (toothbrush, comb, razor), tea bags, and coffee. You need to transfer to an elevator to get to the first floor, but it's very convenient, and even on weekends, the wait isn't too long. 📍Room: This time I stayed in a basic double room on the 19th floor, facing the mountains with views of Ikuta Shrine and the Ijinkan (Foreigners' Hall). The night view is beautiful. The double bed isn't too cramped, and the mattress is just the right firmness. There's a small refrigerator (do not store frozen food), a massage chair, a Panasonic hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap. Daily cleaning is provided, along with two bottles of water, new towels, two packs of sleep-aid chocolates, and pajamas (although sometimes the sizes may vary). The interior space is a bit small, but there's still enough room to open one 24-inch front-opening suitcase and one 24-inch double-opening suitcase. I only stay in the hotel room at night, so this space is sufficient. The soundproofing is pretty good; I didn't hear much noise from other rooms or the hallway. 📍Service: The staff were professional and friendly!

Located above Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya Station, if you arrive by JR, you'll need to cross the street after exiting the station to see it. The first and second floors both connect to the hotel lobby on the 17th floor, making it a great location and convenient for transportation. 👍 This time, we were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing the mountain, which offers a view of Ikuta Shrine, which is also very close by. The room wasn't as small as I expected; two front-opening suitcases could fit in the space between the massage chair and the entrance hallway with a little room to move around. There was no bathtub, but the overall layout was square, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was on the 29th floor, and we asked the staff to help us move to seats facing the sea. Enjoying the view of the airport harbor while dining was quite pleasant, although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive. There are self-service check-in and check-out machines in the lobby, and a welcome gift was provided upon check-in. We chose a foot massage session, and face masks were also available. Although we only stayed one night, the overall experience was good, and I would consider staying here again if I were to return.

Public Spaces: The seating area on the second floor of the hotel is very comfortable and open from 10 am to 12 pm every day, with free drinks provided. It's a great place for independent travelers to discuss their itinerary and relax. There's also a self-service luggage locker on the second floor. Rooms: The room I stayed in this time was 18m^2, with tables and chairs, and suitcases could be fully opened. Breakfast: Buffet style, the selection wasn't extensive but it was sufficient and quite good. The only downside was that the refrigerator in the room seemed to be broken; it wasn't cold even when turned on. I'm deducting one star. Value for Money: With the Black Friday promotion, a room costing around 2000 RMB per night is extremely cost-effective.

I stayed two nights in a twin room in January 2026. The room was square and made full use of space. There was a coffee table and two chairs. The counter and lounge area were on the second floor. Breakfast could be purchased separately. It was not far from the station and there were many shops and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction nearby at the time, so many roads were closed, which was a bit of a shame. I had to take a detour to get to some places. It was a great value for money.

Located near Sangong Station and the bustling Dongmen Street, it offers convenient access to transportation, shopping, and dining. Unfortunately, the nearest station exit is under construction, requiring a detour. This was my first stay at Toyoko Inn. The reception was on the third floor. Overall, it was a good experience. The selection of amenities was limited, but they were available in the lobby. Guests could lock their luggage at the luggage racks on check-in and check-out days. The lobby also served as breakfast area; while small and with a limited selection, it was convenient for travelers. The room was small but not cramped, and the soundproofing was good. The pillows were on the softer side.

I booked a twin room with breakfast in July 2025. The location was very convenient, not far from the subway and within walking distance of the Kobe Kitano Ijinkan (a Japanese business district). The room wasn't large, but it was adequate for two people. Luggage storage was available; large luggage could be locked with a combination lock, which was very convenient. Self-check-in was required, but the staff at the counter were very helpful. Many free amenities were available next to the counter for guests who needed them.

Every time I travel to different parts of Japan, I always stay at least one night at a Fairview hotel. Fairview Hotels always chooses remote locations and attracts customers with affordable prices, which is perfect for me since I always drive. The quality is guaranteed, the room types are consistent, the materials are above average, the rooms are simple and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The lobby has a coffee machine, microwave, ice, and all the basics are provided. The only downside is that the location is remote, there aren't many restaurants nearby, and the hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant. You have to eat out or bring your own food before returning to the hotel. However, this is not a problem for me since I drive, and I don't eat at the hotel restaurant no matter where I stay.

I feel this is a completely overlooked hotel. It's only a one-star hotel, but the experience is actually four to five stars in terms of interior quality. It just doesn't have a restaurant; instead, it offers some frozen light meals that you can buy, including frozen soups and bread, beer, and snacks. There's a coffee bar in the lobby, as well as a place to prepare the light meals, complete with a microwave, oven, ice, hot water, and coffee. You can also buy some items to prepare yourself. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel offers laundry and drying services (coin-operated, of course). The staff are very friendly; if you ask about the light meals, they patiently explain and teach you how to use the oven and microwave. For those who like incense, there are different kinds available free of charge. They also recommend nearby restaurants so you can find your own food. Both the facilities and the service are excellent.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic! They offer free soup and free incense sticks (two per person, choose your own flavor!). They also have a laundry area! Awaji Island is a bit quieter, though. I just checked on Google and it's only a one-star hotel. If you have time, you should definitely plan your trip to Awaji Island. The food is cheap and delicious, and there's even a Nagoya shrimp cracker factory where you can buy them without having to go all the way to Nagoya. For families with kids, there's Awaji Island Park with Crayon Shin-chan and Action Kamen, which is a great attraction. There's also the super popular Okinawa-style pancake shop, Happiness Pancakes. The parking lot has hundreds of spaces, so you don't have to worry about finding a spot. I've experienced everything today and it's simply amazing! There are so many more fun things to do. Everyone should come and visit Awaji Island! 👍
