Comprehensive review: Actual accommodation evaluation of Haeundae Lotte L7 Hotel
The Haeundae Lotte L7 Hotel enjoys a convenient location right next to Haeundae Beach in Busan, just across the street from the beach. The hotel offers spacious rooms, water dispensers and ice machines on every floor, and free luggage storage, among other thoughtful amenities. However, during the summer months, the pool is available for an additional fee, and the breakfast selection isn't as extensive as expected. Overall, it's a good choice for families or couples who value the location and enjoy beach activities, and offers better value during the off-season.
- Service features and brand characteristics: Professional and friendly counter service, free self-service luggage storage service! The building's decor is quite new, and the stale, early-opening decor has faded. The front desk staff speaks fluent English and is patient, understanding, and helpful. Free self-service luggage lockers are available on the third floor, both before and after check-in. They're ample and can accommodate up to 29-inch suitcases, and they also have luggage scales. There's also a pantry equipped with a microwave and other amenities. The hotel's first-floor elevator is staffed by security personnel, providing a reassuring feeling. A Wow Pass money exchange machine is also available. While the exchange rate isn't the best, it's certainly convenient.
- Room selection and equipment features: The rooms are spacious and comfortable with complete charging facilities, and the sea view rooms have a great view! Offering standard king rooms, city view triple rooms, and family sea view rooms, each room is spacious enough to accommodate two 29-inch double-sided suitcases. The beds are perfectly firm and comfortable, and are equipped with universal outlets, eliminating the need for adapters. Two bottles of mineral water, drip coffee bags, and tea bags are provided daily, and no card is required for electricity. Bathrooms feature separate wet and dry areas with excellent hair dryers. Streaming options are available on the TV, and the curtains are electrically controlled. Sea view rooms offer exceptional views, allowing you to watch the sunrise from your room, while side sea view rooms also offer stunning views of the coastline.
- Dining space and public facilities: The rooftop swimming pool requires an additional fee during the summer vacation, and the breakfast options are quite satisfactory! The rooftop pool and sauna are small, but offer stunning views. During the summer, there's an additional fee, and usage is subject to restrictions and time limits. Outside of summer, it's free. The breakfast restaurant, located on the second floor, offers Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Korean options. The abalone congee, raw salmon, and pork rice broth are particularly recommended. However, the menu isn't as diverse as the official website photos suggest, and the selection is limited and prices are high. The third-floor pantry has a microwave, and there are water dispensers with hot and cold water and ice on every floor. There's also a Wowpass currency exchange machine on the first floor.
- Transportation and surroundings: Haeundae Beach is just across the street, and the subway station is a 10-minute walk away! The hotel is just across the street from Haeundae Beach and the Aquarium, a mere three-minute walk. Haeundae Subway Station is a 10-minute walk away. Take the airport bus to Haeundae Beach Station, and the hotel is a five-minute walk away. A 7-Eleven is located on the first floor of the hotel, and McDonald's, Starbucks, and a CU convenience store are nearby. Nearby restaurants include Haeundae Crab, Mizanwang BBQ, and Eomyongbok Pork Rice and Soup. There's also Haeundae Traditional Market, a popular snack market. Haeundae Street is home to numerous shops, bars, and cafes.
