December 5, 2025 An amazing #KyotoHotel with a free public bath! Just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and lots of restaurants nearby, plus a #DonquixoteRestaurant just a 2-minute walk away 🙌🏻 The location and amenities are fantastic! Besides the convenient location, I was also drawn to their #freePublicBath! Named "Dōketsu no Yu" (洞洞の浴), guests can use the entire space for free daily from 6:00-10:00 and 15:00-02:00. It's very relaxing, even the dressing area is beautiful. After your bath, there are complimentary popsicles to enjoy 😋 The rooms are spacious, with a minimalist Japanese style and warm wood design, making for a very comfortable stay 🫶🏻 Breakfast is served as a set menu, which you can choose at check-in, and I thought it was quite good! Very generous~ See more Japanese hotel reviews on Instagram ► Follow @japanuts

We chose to stay here for one night so we could catch the HARUKA train to Kansai Airport early the next morning. The location is really close to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for transportation and shopping. If you arrive at night, you'll see the restaurant area first from the outside; it doesn't feel like a typical inn lobby. The taxi driver was initially unsure if we were at the right place, but thankfully we were using navigation and confirmed with him that we were there. The room was surprisingly spacious, with a somewhat unique layout—a table positioned between the high-ceilinged bed and the sofa chair. However, it was very convenient to use, and the refrigerator was hidden under the table. Besides towels, a hairdryer, a kettle, tea bags, and comfortable plastic slippers (far more comfortable than typical hotel paper slippers), there were no other toiletries; you had to get them from the front desk. Next time I visit Kyoto, I'd probably consider staying here longer.

1. Before booking, I compared Sakae and Fushimi with the room at Androom. I found that Fushimi was cheaper and had larger rooms. Although it's a 15-minute walk to Sakae, I figured it was worth it to walk around and burn off some energy after eating. 2. I genuinely think this room is great. It can fit four suitcases without feeling cramped (one broke, so I asked the hotel to help me take it back, which cost 1650 yen). 3. The bathroom is also super spacious and clean. The bathtub is the perfect size, and I could take a relaxing bath every night. 4. I stayed for four nights mainly to collect plush toys. The platform by the bed is great for taking pictures of the toys, and I enjoyed unpacking and arranging them every night. 🤣 5. If I come to Nagoya again, I will definitely stay here again!! 6. The only downside, I don't know if it's just a problem or not, is that the room's air conditioning is sometimes too cold and sometimes too hot, it's not very temperature-controlled. 😲

Located near the subway, it offers convenient access to various Nagoya attractions. The room and surrounding area are lovely, the room is clean, tidy, and new, the staff are friendly and attentive, the breakfast coffee downstairs is delicious, and they provide fresh towels daily. They also offer complimentary ice cream in the evenings to help with hangovers. Thank you for the warm and welcoming service for solo travelers. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nagoya.

The hotel environment and cleanliness were quite good. Breakfast was a simple set of light meals per person, clean and efficient without being overly extravagant. The front desk staff were very helpful. Although the location is a bit far from the subway station, it was still within tolerable limits. Although there was no large public bath, the sauna was very well-maintained. As soon as you reached the 13th floor, you could smell the rich aroma of wood. The sauna room could accommodate about 5-6 people at a time; it was compact and quite nice. However, the bathroom facilities in the room were a bit small, and the shower was a little cramped, making it somewhat inconvenient to use. The late-night miso soup had potatoes added, giving it a thick soup-like texture and a very good taste. It also included slices of pork, making it a truly comforting and heartwarming dish for winter.

The 4-person room is comfortable and spacious, making it a great choice for family trips or groups of friends. The room is also close to the subway, making it convenient to visit Odori Park, Tanukikoji, or for those who need to transfer to the JR line. The breakfast is also very good. During our 3-night stay, we had different set meals every morning, and they were all excellent. The coffee is especially highly recommended!

1. We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed in a 19-square-meter room, excluding breakfast, for about NT$5600 for three nights. Although the room was a bit small, it was enough for our quick trip. The room was equipped with shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap, a kettle, teacups (no bottled water), large towels, small towels, and slippers. 2. The room was on the second floor, an open space with tables and chairs. However, it was windy during our stay, so we couldn't enjoy the courtyard. 3. Breakfast costs NT$1850 for adults and NT$950 for children. You can pay at the counter in the restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast consisted of light meals, salads, bread, miso soup, coffee, milk, juice, etc. I was particularly impressed by the delicious croissants! 4. There is a 24-hour front desk on the first floor; behind it are self-service washing machines, dryers, coin-operated beverage machines, paper cups, and ice. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and razors are available for use next to the elevator. 5. Bicycles are also available for rent; there is a rooftop swimming pool for a fee. 6. The WiFi is very strong and shared throughout the entire building. 👍 7. The location is great: about a 10-minute walk to the monorail station; about a 5-minute walk to 7-Eleven; and less than 5 kilometers from the airport. 8. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not possible. Parking costs ¥1500 per car per day. We stayed for four days and three nights and there were always parking spaces available. ♥️ Finally, I sincerely thank every staff member for their warm and helpful service. One night, my child developed a fever and shortness of breath. We were carrying him, heading to the hospital emergency room, when a kind lady noticed our situation and immediately rushed out to ask, "Are you going to the hospital? Which hospital? What happened to your child?" After asking, she called the hospital's emergency room to see if anyone could help us speak Chinese or English. Encountering such proactive and genuine help in a foreign place is truly touching. Thank you to this lady, and thank you to everyone on the team. We will always remember your kindness. 😊

It's about a 15-minute walk from Asahibashi Station, though it might take longer if you're carrying luggage. There are some convenience stores near the station, but almost none closer to the hotel. However, there are two supermarkets within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, which is nice. The area around the hotel is mostly residential and factory, so it can be a little dark at night, and walking around alone might be a little nerve-wracking. We stayed in a twin room, which was very spacious with a large sofa. You can freely take toiletries like toothbrushes and combs from the lobby. The room even had a smart vanity mirror that could turn on the lights and play YouTube videos—very cool! The hotel also offers free bicycle rentals; we rode bikes for about ten minutes to the Naminoue-miya area—highly recommended! 🚴
