The Grand Mandy Suites Ueno-Okachimachi is scheduled to open in May 2026. The hotel offers 57 spacious suites equipped with kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves and laundry facilities, as well as Simmons mattresses, Dyson hair dryers, Nespresso coffee machines and other amenities. The Asakusa Grand Mandy Suites Hotel reopened on April 1, 2026, after a brand revamp. Formerly known as the Asakusa Mandy Luxury Apartments, the hotel has 25 rooms, each with a 10㎡ open-air balcony and furnished with a sofa bed, tatami, or bunk bed. It can accommodate 5-8 people. The deluxe sauna suites feature private sauna rooms. It is located near Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express Line in Tokyo and close to Kappabashi Department Store.

Asakusa Grand Mandy Suites

A family of four stayed for 8 days and 7 nights from the end of July to the beginning of August. The room had two single beds, one bunk bed, two sofa beds, and a terrace. The hotel's pros and cons are as follows: Pros: 1) The hotel is newly opened, and all facilities are very clean and beautiful. The room is large, and the two single beds and bunk beds are spaced out, so cooking in the kitchen is not affected by oil fumes. The kitchen has all the basic cooking utensils and tableware, and the microwave and washing machine are very useful. The shower area is large and fully functional; drying the bathroom after a shower leaves you feeling refreshed, comfortable, and clean. 2) The hotel is located in a quiet yet convenient area. It's a 5-minute walk from the subway station, supermarket, department store, and food market. Senso-ji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, and Nakamise-dori Street are also very close. 3) The hotel staff are friendly, especially the Mandarin-speaking gentleman we met at the very end. He was very proactive in helping us and offered fruit-flavored ice pops (one free per person per day, which other staff didn't mention) and damp towels to wipe away sweat. Disadvantages: Room cleaning service is not available daily; it's done every three days. Those who prefer daily cleaning should take note. The hotel rooms are so comfortable they might make you not want to go out 😂 (If you're traveling with children and booking through Trxx.com, please note that non-adult guests need to enter their age during booking. The system will initially enter 17 years old, but it will only be known at check-in that guests aged 12 and above are counted as adults. If you don't include family members aged 12 or older as adults, you'll have to pay the difference at check-in.)

There are many restaurants nearby, and convenience stores and 24-hour supermarkets are all available. The rooms are 63 square meters, including a four-person room, a tatami room, a living room, a balcony, and a kitchenette with an island. An oven, induction cooker, and tableware are provided for cooking. Shoes must be removed before entering. The wooden floors are very clean. During check-in, there were staff who spoke Chinese, making communication very convenient.

This hotel, which opened on April 28, 2025, is a newly opened property. We booked a six-night stay from July 3rd to 9th in March at an opening promotional price. In June, we changed our plans and contacted the hotel via email to reschedule. Initially, the price was 40% higher, but the hotel staff managed to reschedule us at the original price through their back office – the service was excellent. The hotel has a great location, right across the street from a 7-Eleven, perfect for grabbing drinks and breakfast after a long day. Four subway lines are nearby: Hibiya, Asakusa, Ginza, Yurakucho, and the JR Keiyo Line, all within easy walking distance. The furthest lines, Ginza and Yurakucho, are about a 10-minute walk away. We booked a corner family room, approximately 57 square meters, with two semi-double beds and two sofa beds. It was quite comfortable for four adults and one child. However, while spacious, the amenities weren't great. The toilet and bathroom were large, but the living room was small; after placing a table, there wasn't enough space for three 25-inch suitcases. The room is cleaned and the beds are made every three days, but actually, trash is packed and towels are changed daily, so there's no need to worry about cleaning. However, the cleaning staff only provided three towels on the second day, and even more surprisingly, only two on the third day. After contacting the front desk, they started providing four towels as usual. The room is equipped with a washing machine with a front-loading dryer; washing and drying takes only 2.5 hours, which is very convenient for daily laundry. Overall, the room facilities are modern, the location is very convenient, and although the family room isn't cheap, it's good value for money and highly recommended!

This new hotel, opened in 2025, has excellent soundproofing and very modern room facilities. The bed is a bit firm, but comfortable to sleep in, and with the right pillows, I slept here for six nights without any back pain. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great hotel. The only downside was the housekeeping staff. Even though we stayed in a four-person room, they only provided two sets of bath towels. We had to contact the front desk to get more. Also, the tissues on the table weren't replenished during housekeeping, and the capsule coffee machine was full of used capsules without being emptied. That was the only real drawback. The hotel's location is quite convenient, close to Hatchobori Station, and there are Family Mart and 7-Eleven supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!
