Overall Review: Actual Accommodation Reviews of Grand Belle Ginza Hotel
Grand Bell Ginza Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Ginza Station and Shinbashi Station. It offers complimentary cypress sauna and spa facilities. Rooms are generally spacious and comfortable, with relatively large bathrooms. The main drawbacks are limited storage space in some room types, limited bathroom storage, potential noise issues due to a nightclub operating in the basement, and slow, frequently disconnecting Wi-Fi. Overall, it's suitable for those who appreciate boutique design hotels and value convenient locations, and is also recommended for travelers wanting to experience Ginza's nightlife atmosphere.
- Service features and brand characteristics: Art Deco décor creates a luxurious atmosphere, with an underground nightclub entertainment space! The Granbell Hotel Group's flagship location stands in the Ginza shopping district, housed in the newly built Granbell Square complex, featuring an Art Deco design. The staff are generally friendly, but I was refused an extra pillow request because they were out of stock. Complimentary coffee and drinking water are available in the lobby, and a complimentary coffee machine is located at the fifth-floor reception desk. The hotel also has a nightclub in the basement for guests' free use, making it suitable for those who appreciate boutique hotel style and exclusive shopping and nightlife experiences.
- Room type selection and facilities: Ten different room types are available, some of which are small and lack storage space! The hotel offers ten different room types. Four terrace twin rooms are located on the 5th floor, each with a private balcony and a LAFUMA lounge chair. The rooms are spacious by Ginza standards, and the beds are moderately comfortable. However, some rooms are quite small, the bathroom lacks a countertop, only large enough for a toothbrush, and there's almost no space for a suitcase. The in-room safe is very small and cannot fit a standard-sized laptop. The chairs are poorly designed; the legs are easy to kick when passing by, and an entire wall is a mirror facing the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep in.
- Dining and public facilities: There is a free cypress sauna, but there is no gym and limited breakfast options! The hotel offers a daily buffet breakfast, primarily featuring bread. A public spa on the fourth floor includes a swimming pool, cold water pool, men's sauna and women's steam room, reading room, and lounge chairs for relaxation and work. Alcoholic beverages and snacks are available for complimentary use by hotel guests. The fifth floor houses a lobby and lounge area with complimentary coffee and tea, and features a daily Happy Hour. However, the hotel lacks a fitness center, and the music from the basement nightclub sometimes continues until 4 AM, audible from rooms on the sixth floor.
- Transportation and surrounding environment: It's a 5-minute walk to Ginza Station and Shinbashi Station, and there are many shopping and dining options nearby! The hotel features a 24-hour 7-Eleven convenience store on the first floor. The Western restaurant on the first floor is of good quality, with particularly delicious stir-fried vegetables and crème brûlée. Ginza Station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and Hibiya Station is a 7-minute walk away. Located in the Ginza Corridor Street, a vibrant nightlife area surrounded by numerous upscale restaurants, shops, and department stores, the hotel is directly opposite a food street lined with various Japanese restaurants. Despite its location next to a busy street, the rooms are well-soundproofed, eliminating street noise.
