The cherry blossoms on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan are the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in northern Taiwan in winter. Every January, the winter cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the pink, peach and white colors interweave to create a dreamy and beautiful scene. This year I finally brought my little Hamburger with me on a pilgrimage. I didn’t expect that I would make a last-minute decision and was lucky enough to encounter the stunning view of cherry blossoms with water droplets under the blue sky. When I left, I witnessed the romantic moment of the semi-circular rainbow and cherry blossoms, which made this cherry blossom viewing trip full of surprises and touching moments!
How to get to Lane 42, Pingjing Street, Yangmingshan
We drove to the Forbidden City and went up to Yangming Mountain. We entered Pingjing Street and saw some cherry blossoms in full bloom. The most common sight of flowers is in Lane 42. There are single-pay parking spaces on site, or learn from Wendy and park farther away. You can also choose to take public transportation, take the Taipei MRT Tamsui Xinyi Line to Jiantan Station or Shilin Station, transfer to bus No. 303, and get off at "Lunziwei Station" and walk there.
▲ It rained for several days in a row, but I didn’t expect to earn a few pictures of cherry blossoms under the blue sky.
▲ Later, there was rain, and it was a different scene.
Han Ying can't wait to welcome the new year
Let me inquire a little about the variety of cherry blossoms planted in Lane 42, Pingjing Street. Some say it is Fuji cherry, but another says it is Han cherry. Early and slightly heat-resistant, most of them adapt well in the north and Yangmingshan after being planted in Taiwan, and the color is more intense than the Somei Yoshino cherry, and a peach-colored cherry tree can be seen far from the alley.
There is also a large cherry blossom forest on the opposite side, and a single charge of 300 yuan per person is charged. Due to the drizzle that day, the land for the fee is so muddy that everyone is just taking pictures outside. The cherry blossoms in Lane 42 of Pingjing Street are the cherry blossom viewing spots that I have been watching for a long time. The number of tourists on site is not exaggerated. After a while, there will be empty scenes. It is recommended that everyone seize the time and go when they are full to make up for those who cannot go to Japan to enjoy cherry blossoms. Pity. (I miss you)
▲ With the appearance of water droplets, it is super beautiful!
▲ This is a cherry blossom forest that charges for a single entry.
▲ I finally got my shot of the cherry blossom tree extending out of the wall.
▲ Before leaving, earn another rainbow.
Gaying on the same scene: Sprinted cherry blossom viewing spots
When I used to work at Wuming Xiaozhan, I worked with Y!The editorial team on the homepage worked together on one day to compile a collection of cherry blossom viewing spots in Taiwan, including Wuling Farm, Jiu Aboriginal Culture Village, Taoyuan Fuxing Township, Hsinchu Simacus and Tai’an Police Station. Sanzhi Tianyuan Palace will also be under traffic control at that time. Thanks to the good care of these places, we can enjoy the cherry blossoms without going abroad, and sprint for consecutive holidays.
