Quick overview: Service features and basic information about the Hilton Garden Inn hotel series
The concept of the Canopy by Hilton hotel brand originated from Hilton Group’s large-scale consumer research. Through interviews with more than 9,000 travelers in the United States, the United Kingdom and China, the core gap in the lifestyle hotel market was discovered. Travelers do not want cookie-cutter luxury, but rather an authentic, local and unique accommodation experience.
The Hilton Garden Inn brand positions itself as a lifestyle hotel, creating shared spaces that combine art, culture, and gastronomy to provide a richer and more experiential stay compared to traditional hotels. The three core brand values are: Locally Inspired, Surprisingly Comfortable, and Positively Yours.
- Locally Inspired:The lobby design, interior artwork, restaurant menus, and even welcome gifts all draw inspiration from the culture and history of the city where they are located, with each room under the same brand having its own unique characteristics and style.
- Surprisingly Comfortable:The room design prioritizes local living, providing intuitive activity spaces, a simple design, and high-quality bedding, offering a space where you can truly rest.
- Positively Yours:Hotel staff, known as Enthusiasts, guide guests as local experts, offering personalized neighborhood exploration suggestions rather than standardized Q&A or consultation services.
The Hilton Garden Inn's brand color is orange, which awakens positive energy. The service design is based on the idea of allowing travelers to immediately integrate into the city. The hotel features a shared social space called Canopy Central, which showcases local art and offers handcrafted food based on local cultural characteristics. It creates a space where the boundaries between the hotel and the neighborhood are blurred, aiming to capture the preferences of millennials and art and design lovers through unique local cultural elements and interactive public areas.
- Welcome GiftUpon arrival, guests will receive a welcome gift representing their city, such as an Osaka Fushimi doll or a specially blended bath salt. Each hotel has a unique gift.
- Canopy BikesOffering free branded bicycle rentals encourages travelers to explore the neighborhood at a local pace, and has become a signature service of brand locations around the world.
- Local cuisine is preferred. The restaurant and bar emphasize local ingredients and local chefs, and evening tasting events allow guests to sample local craft beers, wines, or specialty spirits.
- Enthusiasts serviceFront desk staff can act as neighborhood guides, providing personalized local recommendations such as hidden restaurants, arts and cultural events, and seasonal attractions.
- 24-hour fitness centerEach location has a well-equipped gym, some located on high floors, offering panoramic city views and helping travelers maintain an exercise routine while on the go.
- Flexible meeting facilitiesEach location features stylish meeting spaces suitable for small workshops, creative proposals, and private events, a far cry from traditional meeting room layouts.
- Pet-friendly policyMany locations offer pet-friendly rooms, allowing travelers to bring their furry friends. However, some locations require an application, and the cost depends on the hotel's policy.
