Andaz Singapore – A Concept by Hyatt was the most stunning star-rated hotel of my trip. It wasn't just the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the entire building, but also the ever-present smiles and attentive service from the staff. The relaxed and comfortable atmosphere of Andaz, along with the generous complimentary minibar in all rooms and 24-hour welcome tea and snacks, made for a truly carefree stay. Quick Facts: A basic introduction to Andaz Singapore

Reservation:agoda|booking.com|Trip|klook

Andaz Singapore opened in November 2017. Along with Park Hyatt, Andaz is Hyatt Hotels Corporation's flagship luxury brand. While Park Hyatt focuses on classic and elegant design and caters to business travelers, Andaz emphasizes boutique design that incorporates local culture, aiming for a young, fashionable, and relaxed accommodation atmosphere. Guests and staff are mostly dressed casually and relaxed, which is quite different from the Park Hyatt's atmosphere of suits everywhere. It is more suitable for those of us who are just here for a vacation, and we will not feel constrained at all.

The casual and relaxed style of Singapore Andaz Hotel provides an accommodation experience that is different from Park Hyatt’s formal business style. The service staff are relaxed but not casual. Guests can have unlimited drinks in the room and reception hall at any time. Guest rooms, restaurants, bars and other spaces Give full play to the advantages of 360-degree views. At night, it is strongly recommended to reserve a restaurant on the 25th floor or a bar on the top floor to enjoy the dining space with unique scenery.

The guest room design of Andaz Singapore was handed over to the designer Fu Houmin from Hong Kong. Each floor of the guest rooms are arranged in a circle, each with a different high-altitude view, giving full play to the advantages of the building’s 360-degree view. Many room types even have floor-to-ceiling windows lighting. All rooms are designed with separate bathroom and bathroom design. The suite room has a large starting space of 76 square meters, so it will be equipped with a bathtub and a living room with a complete compartment. However, the general guest room is at least 38 square meters, and in fact, there is also a small living room space.

We stayed in a deluxe double room with a king-size bed and a city view. Ample luggage and clothing room was set at the door. The luggage and clothing that would cause a sense of clutter were isolated from the beginning. A small living room space and two-sided floor-to-ceiling windows were set up to give the room a very good view. Wide and equipped with two-layer electric control curtains, the door will automatically open when entering the room no matter day or night, allowing guests to enjoy the high-altitude beauty of the moment, which is quite welcoming, but some people may find it troubled.

The Mini Bar in the Andaz guest room proudly provides a variety of beverages and snacks for free, including 12 cans of beer, soft drinks, juices and sparkling water, as well as snacks such as chocolate and potato chips, as well as capsule coffee and tea bags necessary for star hotels. There is everything available. Only the wine on the table in the living room must be paid for. Guests can enjoy the Mini Bar without worry. The hotel service staff pointed out that because the faucet in the room has provided drinking water, the bottled mineral water was removed. However, after many guests protested, Let's add it back first, the road to environmental protection is really not easy!

During this trip, I stayed in a star-rated hotel in Singapore. The most uncomfortable part at first was that the water pressure and volume in the shower were quite small. Later I realized that Singapore is a water-scarce city. Through water cycle management, seawater desalination, rainwater collection and other practices, , gradually got rid of the water shortage dilemma. Under strict regulations, hotels must not only have greening plans, but also have good water management practices. Therefore, the water volume in most rooms is small. People who prefer a relaxing shower must first be mentally prepared. . (🔎Reservation prices and accommodation reviews:agoda|booking.com|Trip|klook)

The reception hall of Andaz Singapore Hotel is located on the 25th floor. Next to the counter, there is a Sunroom serving coffee, tea and snacks 24 hours a day. Happy Hour is 5-7 in the evening. Alcoholic beverages are also provided. All guests are generously provided. Enjoy it for free. The outdoor space on the 25th floor is equipped with an infinity pool, and the rest of the indoor space is a gourmet space called Alley on 25, which gathers multi-national street food style restaurants, and fully demonstrates the hotel’s location in the Bugis business district where multiculturalism gathers.

Alley on 25 gathers five distinctive restaurants including Auntie's Wok and Steam, The Green Oven, Smoke & Pepper, Icehaus, and Plancha'Lah! I didn't book breakfast this time, but I went to the Auntie Gourmet Restaurant to enjoy local food in the evening, and enjoy the high-altitude night view. These restaurants are open to the public and the business is quite good. It is recommended that guests make reservations first.

There is a 38°F steakhouse and a 1-hour gym on the 665th floor. The top floor of the 24th floor is the Mr Stork high-altitude bar, which is also the most popular place in the entire hotel. It has a 39-degree panoramic view of the high-altitude, and the bar is set on the side. For the superb location in the city center, the high-altitude night view is particularly beautiful. The hotel staff specially reminded us that we can book in advance because it is the most popular nightlife spot, especially the specially set up 360 Indian-style tents. Features.

Overall Review: Actual Accommodation Reviews of Andaz Singapore

The Andaz Singapore is located in the heart of the Bugis business district, boasting convenient access to the MRT station and a 25th-floor rooftop infinity pool with 360-degree city views. Complimentary in-room minibars and 24-hour tea service add to the comfort. The main drawbacks are slightly low water pressure in the rooms, a less diverse breakfast selection compared to other hotels in the same category, and occasional service inconsistencies. Overall, it is suitable for business and leisure travelers who value high-floor views, appreciate modern design, and have a generous budget.

  • Service features and brand characteristics: A boutique hotel that blends local culture, with a complimentary minibar and 24-hour tea service! Southeast Asia's first Andaz hotel features a modern design that blends local culture. The building's distinctive honeycomb-like exterior, designed by German architect Ole Scheeren, is highly recognizable. The interior design incorporates cultural elements from Kampong Glam and Bugis. The lobby is located on the 25th floor, with a counter designed to create a relaxed and youthful atmosphere. Next to the lobby is a 24-hour sunroom, serving coffee, tea, lemonade, and snacks throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages are also available from 5 pm to 7 pm. However, service has occasionally been compromised, with towels not being changed frequently and difficulties in contacting staff regarding lost and found items.
  • Room type selection and equipment features: All rooms are high-rise rooms on the 25th floor and above with panoramic views. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, but the water pressure is relatively weak! All guest rooms are located on floors 25 and above, featuring a modern minimalist style with warm wood floors and elegant décor. Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light. Each room is equipped with a BOSE sound system, USB ports on either side of the bed, and a complimentary mini-bar offering capsule coffee, Tangning tea, craft beer, sparkling drinks, and chocolate snacks, replenished daily. Only spirits are available for an additional fee. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are a bit soft. The bathroom features a separate shower and toilet area, a spacious wardrobe, and a dressing area. The water pressure in the bathroom is slightly low, but this is a common design feature in Singapore.
  • Dining spaces and public facilities: The infinity pool on the 25th floor has a first-class view, and the breakfast selection is average but the atmosphere is comfortable! The 25th floor features an infinity pool and a 24-hour gym. The infinity pool is perfect for watching the sunset in the evening and is a popular spot for Instagrammers, although it's not very large. Breakfast is served at Alley on 25 restaurant on the 25th floor, offering a semi-buffet style meal on weekends and holidays, including a main course and an all-you-can-eat buffet. There are also satay grills, fresh noodle soup bars, and dim sum steamers. The 39th floor houses Mr. Stork rooftop bar, offering 360-degree panoramic views. It's always packed on weekends and is perfect for enjoying cocktails and admiring the city skyline in the evening.
  • Transportation and surrounding environment: Super convenient direct access to Bugis MRT station, and within walking distance of Haji Lane and Little India! The hotel is located directly above Bugis MRT station, less than a 30-second walk from Exit E, offering extremely convenient transportation. Situated at the intersection of three major cultural areas—Kampong Glam, Little India, and Bugis—the hotel is within walking distance of Haji Lane and the Sultan Mosque. A wide variety of restaurants are nearby, including Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Founder Bak Kut Teh, Cheng Fa Meat Noodles, and Mrs. Pho Vietnamese Restaurant. The building features several restaurants, cafes, and a 7-Eleven convenience store on the ground floor and basement level. Paid parking is also available, costing approximately S$100 per day, but reservations are not accepted.

"After exiting from Exit E of the Bugis MRT, you can reach the entrance to B3 (without going to the ground floor), or take the escalator to the second-floor lobby (where you can also call a taxi). However, the B3 entrance is actually quite hard to find, hidden in a rather peculiar corner. The hotel's overall facilities are of Hyatt Regency standard, but the check-in counter on the 25th floor has a slightly confusing layout. Fortunately, the staff were very friendly and quickly guided guests to their small counter for check-in. The official check-in time is after 3 PM, but I arrived at the counter about half an hour early, and the staff were very considerate in letting me check in. The free lounge next to the lobby only has basic ice water and cookies, suitable for passing the time and resting while waiting. The room is very large; I stayed in a traditional view room, and the view from the window was truly magnificent. Moreover, the curtains have two layers, so I didn't have to worry about being woken up by the sun in the morning. Some reviews mentioned that the water pressure was weak and the hot water was low, but I personally didn't encounter this issue. It might be because the bathroom faucets are a bit complicated to operate. The mini-bar in the room is free and self-service, but compared to what I saw online three or four years ago, it seems to have cost-cutting measures. Previously, they had bottled mineral water." The water is now just easy-open canned drinking water; there used to be nine types of beverages, now only six. A disappointing aspect of the room is the bed, which is only two meters long. My legs couldn't stretch out, so I had to sleep at an angle. For a five-star hotel under the Hyatt group in a cosmopolitan city like Singapore, a bed that's only two meters long is unacceptable. I can't imagine how taller European and American travelers could tolerate it. Also, the room didn't have international power outlets, so I'll have to bring my own, but there were many USB sockets, which was convenient. Breakfast, for a Hyatt, was just average. The three-zone food service area was a bit disorganized, and it felt like the staff only concentrated in a few areas. The scrambled eggs were gone from the moment I started eating breakfast, and even half an hour after I finished, they hadn't been replenished. I don't think it's worth adding to the menu; you might consider trying a local Singaporean breakfast. Also, be especially careful when checking out: your Wi-Fi will be immediately cut off. I called a car while checking out and wondered why I hadn't received a notification until now, only to find my internet was down. I quickly turned on my roaming, thankfully the GRAB was just about to arrive.

Conclusion: Spacious rooms (a huge plus), convenient transportation, quick and easy check-in process; highly recommended if there are discounts available. Environment: Fresh and comfortable, not overly luxurious, polite and helpful staff, always ready to assist. Location: Convenient transportation, but the drop-off point is on the 2nd floor. B3 connects directly to the subway, and there are shopping malls/supermarkets/Ya Kun Kaya Toast nearby. Circulation: 2nd floor (drop-off point), hotel staff provide assistance/direction; 25th floor (lobby/restaurant/pool); 38th floor (24-hour gym); 39th floor (outdoor bar). Price: This time, I booked late (24 hours before check-in) and got a 30% discount for a 3-day stay, a very attractive price. After deducting various rewards, the average total price per night was USD 260. Other hotels charge over USD 330 for rooms smaller than 15 square meters. If you can confirm your dates in advance, I recommend using Hyatt points for redemption. Experience: (Excellent) 1. Quick check-in and check-out process, no queues at all. 2. The rooms are spacious, the smallest being 38 square meters; the soundproofing is good. 3. The king-size bed and blankets are very comfortable and not stuffy at all. 4. The minibar is free. 5. There's a snack area on the 25th floor, with a long service time, so you can grab a quick bite even if you haven't ordered breakfast. 6. There's a swimming pool where kids have a great time playing in the water. (Missing) 1. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are covered with sunscreen stickers (?!), which obstructs the view. 2. The shower water pressure is low. 3. The minibar items are fewer than before. 4. The pool/lobby/restaurant are all on the 25th floor; those who value privacy while swimming should be aware that the 25th floor is crowded. 5. The layout isn't very convenient. You get off on the 2nd floor, then have to change elevators on the 25th floor to get to your room floor; you also have to change elevators on the 25th floor to get down, and then take an escalator from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor, which involves a lot of detours.

"My husband chose this Andaz Hotel for our layover! The room was spacious, and the ocean view was fantastic. Because of my Globalist status, the hotel even provided extra snacks and breakfast. The soundproofing was excellent, and I especially appreciated that each room had its own independent light switch, allowing me to tidy up or shower even while the kids were sleeping without being disturbed. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection, including local specialties—I loved it! The 24-hour gym on the 38th floor was fully equipped and provided drinking water, towels, and toilets—very convenient! The 39th-floor observation deck offered a panoramic view; enjoying the breeze and scenery at dusk was incredibly chill. The lounge offered complimentary snacks and daily mocktails; the staff were friendly and helpful."
