Tainan Public Libraries officially opened in early 2021, differentiated from other county and city general libraries with Tainan Hall of Fame, independent bookstores, public art, and exploration of children’s five senses. About Tainan Municipal Library
The Tainan City Government selected Yongkang Artillery School to re-establish the new main library of the library. After six years of construction, it finally officially opened on January 1 this year. It is the second-oldest public library in the country.The public art works inside are spacious and mouth-shaped, and the outer ring extends from bottom to top, and the window grilles of old Tainan houses are used as frames above to bring out the idea of shade and coolness.

Excluding the use of B2 as a public parking lot, the fifth floor is the working area for the staff, and the remaining floors are equipped with separate books, services and displays. The architectural and interior design planning is excellent. The light of Tainan’s sunny day is introduced, and there is no need to use too much electricity during the day. Reading in bright light does not hurt your eyes, and the space between the seats is large, which also maintains a sense of privacy in self-reading.
1rd floor
When you walk in, you will see the British designer Paul Cocksedge's work "Gust of Wind". The left and right sides are the counter area and the reading area. The former has staff to help with related rental services, and the latter can access periodicals, new books, Newspapers, etc., were read directly on the spot, while Little Hamburg hurriedly wanted to read the newly arrived children's books on the shelf and hurriedly took them away.

2rd floor
Nowadays, the library is not only limited to books in people’s lives, but also includes the Internet, film and television, leisure, youth preferences, visually impaired reading and meeting spaces, increasing the utilization rate of many spaces, and also expanding the relationship between this field and people. On the second floor, quite a lot of elderly people use the Internet, increasing the "skills" of the silver-haired people in using computers. I should bring my mother to get familiar with it.

3rd floor
The four sides are used as the reading seating area, which can be taken out from the Chinese book shelf and choose a comfortable position to read the book. Little Burger was surprised to get a Disney princess fairy tale book from the shelf. I am still amazed how it appeared here. ?The child rushed to the "window" and clamored for me to read it to him. In fact, this way of walking the child is also good and it saves money.

This is my favorite floor. It includes Wubang Bookstore, Tainan Hall of Fame, Hand-made Classrooms, Maker Space, etc. The museum will present the deeds of Tainan celebrities in the past with pictures, movies, and objects. For example, Wu Xinrong-Left Wing The poet's hometown feelings are one of the representatives of the literary group in the salt zone of Tainan, who devoted himself to the preservation of local culture and history, politics, and creation.
For the first time, I set up an independent bookstore in the library to sell books. You can also enjoy a good afternoon here with simple snacks and drinks and book selection. On the other side, there are various spaces operated by the library, which are also used for multiplication and diversification. It can also gather crowds to participate in various activities. One of the multifunctional studios can accommodate 40 people, and the rental fee is also quite affordable. Why not have it in Shuangbei! (Scream)

B1 floor
Above the 1st floor, we have to keep reminding Little Burger to "hush ~ quietly" to avoid disturbing quiet reading until we reach the B1 floor, which is simply a paradise for children, with all kinds of children's books, five sense exploration services, and cave houses to watch videos. He can still run in the square. Little Hamburger refuses to leave here. It is useless to persuade him. It is also his favorite floor.
