It is the third year that Taitung has held a hot air balloon carnival. This year, it has also invited 12 countries to come here to do air shows. In the past, this method can only be implemented in places where the airflow and temperature are relatively stable, such as Chiang Mai, Thailand. So this time I came down with my husband to watch the hot air balloon. I really felt that this activity was great when I watched it on the spot. There are several locomotive rental shops outside Taitung Station, but the husband actually forgot to bring his driver’s license and can’t rent a locomotive (now you have to register for a driver’s license to rent a locomotive, otherwise the shop will be fined once you find it), I had to take a Taiwanese bus to go there. I didn’t have the mobility of traveling back and forth, so I had to find time to come down during the event.For traffic control purposes, currently only Taiwan Haoxing buses can directly reach the Luye Gaotai venue. (The event just opened, there are not too many tourists, so there are parking spaces next to the venue from 5 to 7 in the morning)
We boarded Taiwan Hao Xing next to the new station of Taitung Railway Station. We calculated that it would take about an hour to reach the venue from Taitung New Station. When getting on the bus, tell the driver where to go. The fare of Taitung New Station-Luye Gaotai is 95 yuan. , Change can be found on site.In addition, because the flight show and tethered ride experience are held at Luye Highland in the morning, the activity time is very early, from 5 to 7 in the morning, so Taiwan HaoXing will increase the number of flights in the morning. Taking Taitung Station as an example, the additional flight time will be 5 :18, but it will be about 6:20 when we arrive at the venue. The flight show has already ended. It is recommended that those who want to watch the show should drive or bike to the venue early in the morning.

Every Friday to Sunday, there are tethered rides from 5 to 7 in the morning and 5 to 7 in the afternoon. Tickets are sold at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and the fare is 500 yuan per person.Tethering mainly refers to the on-site hot air balloons that use ropes to limit the flying height. The pilots operating the hot air balloons will control the elevation. During the on-site viewing, you will find that the hot air balloons are inflated with fire from time to time, and the balloons are limited to people and activists. Danger occurs when lifting.
Based on my experience this time, if you want to queue up for a ride, you can actually choose the morning session. The main reason is that the time is really early and some passengers who can’t get up are filtered out. We were at the scene at about 6:30 and heard about the conference. We constantly broadcast the promotion "skip the line! You can buy tickets right away." It's just that the sky is blue early in the morning. We are all focused on taking pictures, so we didn't buy tickets and take a ride. Maybe we will try it again when we go next time.
