Sukhothai Airport (Thai: ท่าอากาศยาน สุโขทัย) is a quaint airport, which is different from the modern style of Bangkok Airport. It is built by Bangkok Airways (Bangkok Airways) flights to Thailand. The only option.
This airport is Bangkok Airways' second airport in Thailand. It is located in the Sawankhalok district of Sukhothai Province, about 8 kilometers away from the city.The Sukhothai Airport was built in 1992, and its first flight was officially opened in 1996. It covers a total area of 2,000 acres and contains a 2,100-foot-long airport runway. The airport is surrounded by farmland. Local farmers are hired to grow organic rice. After the harvest, it is not only used for meals on the plane, but also for employees to enjoy and sell.
