Lampang, a provincial capital located in northern Thailand, is a scenic spot famous for the many horse-drawn carriages in the city, but there are also many ancient temples with northern Thai Lanna style worth visiting. It's like Wat Pongsanuk (temporary translation: Peng Sanuk Temple).

Peng Sanu Temple was damaged by the Second World War. It was rebuilt through the strength of the local official and private communities. In 2008, it was awarded the "Award of Merit" by UNESCO to reward those who have worked hard to rebuild this ancient temple. When I visited here, in the afternoon, it was a comfortable time. There was cool breeze and winter sun. I walked slowly to enjoy the unique tranquility of the ancient Thai temple.

There is a large reclining Buddha in the temple, which is slightly smaller than the Wat Pho in Bangkok, but it is as stable as the heart. There is an electric sign machine in front of the reclining Buddha. You can mute the things you want to ask about to the reclining Buddha first, and then insert coins to wait for the sign machine After the operation is completed, a small sign poem will fall out. There is an English sign poem in it, so you can pray to the reclining Buddha. This time I don’t know the background of the temple and share the photos I took at hand. ^^
