Basic introduction to Kinugawa Yumeji Hotel

Kinugawa Hot Spring is part of the Nikko National Park in Tochigi Prefecture. It can be said to be a well-known hot spring tourist attraction in northern Kanto. There are many hot spring hotels along the valley. The Kinugawa Grand Hotel Dream Season is also one of the most famous ones. Before walking to the hotel, there are already several chambers of commerce that welcome to book activities here. While the staff at the counter assisted in the check-in process, they looked around the lobby, with spacious seats and souvenir shops, which stood in the middle of the Japanese garden.

When we came back in the afternoon, it was raining and freezing weather in Kinugawa Onsen. The counter staff and the female assistant held an umbrella at the door to pick us up, fearing that we would be cold enough to quickly serve hot tea, and after a sip Slightly warmer. The female player asked us to sit in the lobby for a short rest, and also explained that the luggage had been placed in the room, and when the rest was almost done, she led us to the room.

Kinugawa Grand Hotel Dream Season is a large hotel. The lady will take us all the way through the corridor, explaining the public facilities and usage time, and finally came to the room. There is a room with my name written on the door. The list feels like a special VIP.With a smile, she invited us to sit in the Japanese-style living room first, and then she brewed hot matcha tea and delivered it to the front. Let us drink the hot tea while listening to her explain the usage time and precautions of the public pool in the hotel, and take it. An instruction sheet taught us how to wear yukatas, and the sincere hospitality service makes people really like it!

Kinugawa Yume Season Hotel has a total of 100 rooms, offering 5 room types to choose from.

  • Royal Suite: 161.5㎡, about 49 ping
  • Garden view room: 46㎡, about 14 ping
  • Deluxe suite: 55.1㎡, about 17 ping (for quadruple room)
  • Japanese-style suite: 55.1㎡, about 17 ping
  • Japanese-style room: 46㎡, about 14 ping

This time I stayed in the third room type "Deluxe Suite", which includes a separate dressing table, bathroom space, toilet, a western-style single twin room, and a Japanese-style living room, a small balcony area, etc. Compared to the previous nights In the Tokyo downtown business hotel, the ultra-small space that cannot be turned around is so spacious that we are all moved to tears. Not only can you flatten your suitcase and take out your belongings, you can also lie down, sit, and lie comfortably in this luxurious suite. It is worth the extra expense to spend more money in a better and more comfortable hotel! (Make a fist~)

In addition, I think this restaurant is quite intimate. In addition to providing bath products, there are also men-specific accessories, as well as the lotion, lotion, and cleansing mousse that girls need to use. They are all products of the well-known Japanese brand Kose. It also looks good, there will be no dryness and discomfort. There are two Japanese-style mochi in the living room, wrapped in delicious sesame flavours. I love the mochi shell Q-bomb. Unfortunately, I only bring one suitcase this time. I can’t buy more as souvenirs. I recommend everyone to stay in. You can have a look at it.

The Japanese-style living room of this luxurious suite is quite large, and there is a small balcony-style table and chair area next to it. It is very comfortable whether you are looking at the distant mountain scenery or chatting with friends. If you are staying with four people, you can first sleep two people in a Western-style room, and secondly, put away the table and chairs in the Japanese-style living room and spread out futons to sleep two people. I think it is quite suitable for friends, family travel, and couples. If so, I would recommend staying in a Japanese-style suite. (🔎Reservation prices and accommodation reviews:agoda|booking.com)

Breakfast and public facilities at Kinugawa Yume Season Hotel

The next day’s breakfast was eaten at the Japanese restaurant and Gana. It was the most abundant breakfast we felt. Not only did the kaiseki cuisine have layers of small dishes, exquisite dishes and fresh ingredients, it stimulated our taste buds in the morning. The pleasing landscaping is also one of the main selling points. The morning hours are slightly cool, but after walking into the restaurant, the two women at the door with friendly smiles lead them to sit for a meal, making people feel the warmth of Japanese hot springs and traditional services.

When you come to a traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel, you must experience bathing!Kinugawa Grand Hotel Dream Season’s hot springs are alkaline simple hot springs. They are colorless and transparent and have mild water quality. They can wash away dirt like soap, so they are called "beautiful skin hot springs". Come here to make bubbles and beautify your skin. Meticulous. At present, there are two baths for men and women and two open-air bathing pools in the hotel. The time-exchange system is adopted, that is, they will be exchanged at different times. You can enjoy the comfort of "Guinu Castle" and "Ginou Dream" baths.

The traffic information and surroundings of Kinugawa Yumeji Hotel

From Tokyo JR Asakusa Station to Kinugawa Onsen Station, it takes more than two hours by car to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the suburbs of Tokyo. After arriving here, you will be surrounded by mountains and lined with blue sky and white clouds. Initially, it feels a bit like Taiwan. The view of Huadong. In the early days, Kinugawa Onsen was referred to as "Takinoyu" and "Shitaki Onsen", meaning waterfall-like hot springs. It is also a famous hot spring with more than 300 years of history.

Until 1927, it was renamed Kinugawa Hot Springs, which is as famous as the upstream Kawaji Hot Springs. It has unique scenery of mountains and rivers. In addition, it is more than 2 hours drive from Tokyo and matched with some famous scenic spots in Nikko. It has become the third arrangement for the Japanese. One of the options during the day and night holiday. After we dragged our luggage out of the station, we also saw many Japanese tourists, carrying light luggage bags, and heading for the Kinugawa Onsen Hotel with us.

Looking at the map on the phone, I walked all the way from an overpass that crosses the level crossing next to the station to the direction of the hotel, but in fact, I went straight straight after I got out of the station and walked towards the "Yile" shop that sells souvenirs. Follow the indicators to cross the small underpass, and you can reach it, so you don’t have to carry heavy luggage to climb up and down.
