When I came to Luobei on this maple viewing trip in Kyoto, my friend asked me if I should go to these famous red leaf spots, and set off early when the weather is clear! At first the weather was thick on this day. I didn’t expect to arrive at Changzhao Temple. The gods gave the sun everywhere, and the charming light and shadow through the leaves made people fascinated and reluctant to leave. Sitting on the red seats at the back of the temple, the beautiful scenery settled in my heart. Infinite ripples.

How to get there: How to go to Kyoto Changsho Temple to enjoy the autumn leaves?

Josho-ji Temple, Koyue-ji Temple and Genguangan are located in the same northern part of Kyoto. Compared with other famous places, they have a two-stage subway + bus transfer. There are fewer tourists. At that time, most of them were Japanese tourists (locals). , So if you want to find a good place to take pictures, you can consider visiting these famous places.Usually the accommodation location is around Kyoto Station. You can take the Karasuma Subway Line and get off at Kitaoji Station, then transfer to Bus No. 6 or Kita 1 and get off at Genguanganmae. It will take about 350 meters and 4 minutes to walk to Changsho-ji Temple.

Brief Introduction of Changzhao Temple and Experience of Maple Appreciation

Josho-ji Temple was founded by the Nichiren sect monk, Niskan, and used it as a learning place for monks since 1627. At that time, in Kyoto’s Shimabara Geisha Institute, there was a famous geisha "Yoshino Taio" who used waka, ikebana, taiko, and shamisen. Such skills are well-known, coupled with beautiful appearance and charming conversation. When Taio Yoshino died when he was young, he was buried in the back of Josho-ji Temple. He was mainly a follower of the Nichiren sect during his lifetime and donated all his property to the temple. Therefore, the gate in the photo above is also called Yoshino-san gate.In addition, on the second Sunday in April, Sangsho-ji Temple holds the "Yoshino Taio Flower Festival", where Taio Shimabara from Kyoto will perform Tai Fu Road and order tea at an open-air tea banquet. In autumn, the inside and outside of the temple are covered with red leaves. From the entrance, you can go all the way down through Baima Pond, Tea House, etc., and enjoy different colors of maple red. You can also taste hot tea and desserts for a fee. You can sit in the red seats and enjoy the beautiful scenery in front of you while releasing Wendy. Go down here to help me take pictures of the Baimachi and other scenery. In fact, traveling is to take it slowly and watch it slowly.
